Player Check-in
Check in begins on Friday at 4:30pm at the Cary Tennis Park. Pizza will be served at 5:45 during the check in and play.Check in will be available at the Cary Tennis Park throughout the event. There is not a mandatory check in at the Cary Tennis Park. MEDICAL RELEASE WAIVER-Bring your medical release waiver to the site of your first match and turn it in when you check in for play. That means if your first match is not at the Cary Tennis Park, you can go directly to your site with your waiver and play your match. Then, you can check in at the Cary Tennis Park at your leisure to get your player packet.

Format and Scoring
Draws will be 64 players with a Feed In Consolation through the Round of 16, Quater-Final Consolation, and a 3rd/4th playoff. All Consolation draws will play through Monday. Boys and Girls 14 Main Draw will play the best two out of three tie-break sets. Boys and Girls 12 and under Main Draw and both 14 and 12s Feed-in Consolations will be the best of three sets playing a 10 point match tie break in lieu of third set. Main Draw will play two rounds each day beginning on Saturday. Doubles play will begin Friday afternoon. In the event of inclement weather, match format is subject to change.

Entering Two Tournaments
Do not enter two tournaments at the same time. How to avoid Penalties: If you end up on the alternate list, you must with-draw from the alternate list first and then enter the 2nd event. Tournaments have different deadlines that will allow you time to make your changes.

Signing up for 2 divisions
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these #1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either divisions would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alt. list. They would be removed from the Alternate list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division woud be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made. Entering the 14's + 16's Even though the 16's and 18's are being held in Raleigh under a different tournament code this weekend, it is still part of this tournament. So, you may enter the 14's and 16's without penalty.

Withdrawals
April 27 or before-->Withdraw online. April 28 or later-->All withdrawals should be emailed to the tournament director's email listed above. Withdrawals received after May 2nd 11:59pm are not eligible for a refund.

Selection Process
Top 64 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest STANDINGS LIST. 56 players from this age group will be selected and up to 8 players from the younger age group who are eligible from the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 80 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 56, will be selected. The names of the player who have been selected will appear as COMPETITORS. Alternates will be listed in the REPORT SECTION at the top of the page. DO NOT REFER TO THE ALTERNATES ON THE FAR LEFT SIDE OF THE WEB PAGE (That list is only updated at the time of selections).

Doubles Registration
Click on the link to go to the page to register for doubles. Only accepted singles players should register for doubles. In order to make it easier and more efficient for players, we have set up another tournament ID and homepage just for doubles entries. Entries for doubles will open on Tuesday, April 29 and the deadline for doubles entries is Friday, May 2nd at 11:59 Eastern time. The tournament will not partner players for doubles. All players are responsible for finding his or her own partner. Players must sign up on the doubles tournament homepage before the doubles deadline. BOTH PARTNERS MUST SIGN UP ONLINE BEFORE THE DOUBLES DEADLINE.

Medical Release Waiver
USTA requires a medical release SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of the tournament registration. Players are not allowed on the court without this release.

Birth Certificates/Proof of Citizenship
All players must have a Birth Certificate on file in the Southern office for proof of US Citizenship. Green Cards will be accepted. Passports are not accepted. To verify you are on the list, click here.
