All Singles matches beginng at 9:30 am scheduled at North Central High School are delayed for one hour. Report to North Central one hour after your originally scheduled match. All OTHER sites will give information to their scheduled players from their site. Be on site on time at all sites except North Central.

All singles players are scheduled to play one singles and two doubles on Saturday and on Sunday. Thereafter they will play one singles in the main or two singles in the consolation and one double. Wednesday we play the quarters and the semi's of the main draw.

PLAYERS SELECTED IN THE DRAW ARE RESPONSIBLE TO BE ON THEIR PLAYING SITE TO CHECK IN, IF POSSIBLE, AT LEAST 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO PLAY. GETTING LOST IS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR LATE ARRIVAL. IF YOU DO NOT MAKE YOUR FIRST MATCH TIME, AND AN ALTERNATE IS PUT IN YOUR PLACE IN THE DRAW, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY IN THE CONSOLATION DRAW!!!!!!!

If you were listed on your district endorsers list as an alternate, check on Wednesday after 3pm to see if you have been selected directly into the draw. If you are still an alternate after the draw selections have been made, and you are near the top of the of the list of alternates not yet in, you may wish to be an on-site alternate for Saturday's Singles matches. ON-SITE ALTERNATES MUST BE PRESENT at the Main site (the Barbara S. Wynne Tennis Center at North Central High School) REGISTER AT THE TOURNAMENT DESK BY THE START OF PLAY OF YOUR ENTRY DIVISION. *** B16 singles BEGIN PLAY AT 8AM, ***B18 singles BEGIN PLAY AS EARLY AS 8AM, ***G16 singles BEGIN PLAY AS EARLY AS 9:30 AM, and ***G18 singles BEGIN PLAY AS EARLY AS 10:30 AM. If you are the highest player from the remaining altenate list that is on-site when a player becomes a last minute default, you will be sent to the defaulting players playing site to substitute in the draw.

Players MAY pick up shirt, map and schedule cards on Friday 6/24 from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. You will be asked to fill out a form with cell phone info, hotel or housing info and emergency phone #s and turn in your sportsmanship contract at that time. ***** If you do not check in on Friday you must complete the form PRIOR to your playing time at your site. Please TRY TO ARRIVE 30 minutes early for your match time in order to complete the check in requirements. *****You must arrive, fill out your check in forms and be ready to play by your match time. ***** Late penalties will be issued for players NOT COMPLETELY CHECKED IN AND NOT READY TO PLAY THEIR MATCH AT THE SCHEDULED TIME. *****Since the Midwest Jr Competion committee has chosen not to have a required check in on Friday, please make sure you know the location of your playing site and the time required to get to the site to arrive ON-TIME. Remember getting lost is not an excuse for late arrival.

There is NO MANDATORY Player Check-In this year. All players are responsible for knowing their start times and site locations. Players can pick up their tournament t-shirt, provide contact information, etc at North Central High School 2 pm to 5:30 pm on Friday, 6/24/2011

It is strongly recommended that players enter through the TennisLink Registration System. All players must be entered into the TennisLink Registration System or email the tournament director with the following information for doubles: Names, USTA Numbers and age division. Deadline for doubles registration will be Friday, June 24, 2011 at Noon (EST). In addition, the email that all doubles players received stating that you were not accepted into the doubles draw is an automatic email in a "Tournament Director’s Selection". All players in the singles draw WHO REGISTER WITH ANOTHER PLAYER IN THE SINGLES DRAW, WILL be selected to play doubles with another quota player. Alternates not in the singles draw paired with a quota player or two alternates are NOT GUARENTEED a spot in doubles if a 64 team limit is reached in the age division they enter. You MAY NOT ask to enter either age division if not accepted into your first choice of Doubles division. ALL DOUBLES ENTRIES MUST APPEAR ON THE SINGLES ENDORSEMENT LIST FROM YOUR DISTRICT. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH A PARTNER WHO IS NOT ENDORSED TO PLAY IN THE SINGLE DRAW AS AN ALTERNATE. YOUR ENTRY WILL BE DISREGARDED.

Seeding and Selection for singles will be based on the most current USTA/Midwest Section Standing PPR List in the age division of the event.

Doubles Selection Process: All players must appear on their District Endorsement list in order to be considered to the event. Teams will be accepted into the main doubles draw in the following order: 1. Teams that are made up of players accepted in the same age division as the main singles draw 2. Teams that are made up of one player accepted in the main singles draw and their partner is an alternate to the same age division as the main singles draw. 3. Teams that are made up of players that are alternates to the same age division as the main singles draw. 4. In the event of a tie, teams will be selected by the highest sum of each players’ USTA/Midwest Section Doubles Standing List Position. 5. Any player selected for singles in any age division.

We cannot contact you unless you provide us your telephone numbers and your e-mail address. The USTA Legal Department has determined that they cannot provide contact information to tournament directors unless the customer provides the contact information during the registration process. Previously the home phone number and email address were pre-filled from the USTA Membership database when a player went through the online registration process. The pre-fill was removed due to privacy concerns. If you don't provide an email address and/or telephone number when you register for this tournament then we will be unable to notify you about any possible changes in the tournament.

All players, parents and chaperones must sign the USTA/Midwest Section Sportsmanship Agreements prior to play. Players will need to bring this form with them to their first round single matches. No cut off or torn sleeves and/or shorts are allowed.Rolled down waistbands are not allowed.
