Please be aware that a traffic accident near Hwy 121 on U.S. 75/Central Expy. has reated a considerable traffic backup that will slow anyone driving to Allen HS and Lovejoy HS and using that route. Players and parents are advised to take HWY 5/Greenville Avenue rather than U.S. 75/Central Expy. Hwy 5/Greenville Ave. is located just east of U.S. 75/Central Expy. and can be accessed by taking any mojor east-west street in Plano. Tournament Committee 10:40 a.m., Saturday, April 2

March 25, 2011 Dear Player, Thank you for entering the Plano Championship Major Zone. Your draw, along with playing times and sites are available by clicking on “draws” at the tournament home page. The abbreviations for the sites are: AL = Allen High School, BT = Bent Tree Country Club, CO = Collin County Community College, HP = High Point Tennis Center, LJHS = Lovejoy High School, PE = Plano East Senior High School, PS = Plano Senior High School, PW = Plano West Senior High School. Links to all sites and the street addresses of all sites are available at the tournament home page. If you still need help with a site, please call High Point at 972-941-7170, option 5. This same website will be used for updates concerning bad weather, postponements, revised schedules, etc. You may also call 972-941-7170, option 1, for any updates concerning bad weather. Tournament staff and/or volunteers will not have the time necessary to call players in case of bad weather, postponements or revised schedules. Players are responsible for checking the website or calling High Point in case of such event. Please remember that if you lose your first match, you will go into the mandatory consolation draw. If you lose your first match, please read the consolation draw carefully. It is fairly common for a player to assume that he/she has a bye in the consolation draw, when he/she really must wait for a certain match to be played before it can be determined if he/she has a bye or an actual match. Please do not make such a mistake. In most cases, the mistake cannot be corrected, and the player is defaulted. Draw sheets will be available for viewing (only) at each site. It is recommended that all players print their own draw sheets and carry it with them throughout the tournament. Site directors and tournament volunteers are not responsible for a player’s match times. Players are ultimately responsible for reading the draw sheets correctly. Central Expressway North (from Dallas) to Exchange Parkway (Exit 36). Take Exchange Parkway east about ¾ mile and turn right on Rivercrest. Courts are about ½ mile on right.

Take the Westgrove exit off the Dallas North Tollway (Keller Springs/Westgrove if heading North, Frankfort exit if heading South, then 4th stoplight). Head East on Westgrove. At 4-way stop sign, turn left onto Knoll Trail. Go .5 mile north to Tennis Trail and turn right (immediately after Village Street).

Central Expressway North (from Dallas) to Exit 31 (Spring Creek Pkwy). Take Spring Creek Pkwy east about 1 mile to Jupiter Road. Turn right on Jupiter. CCCC is on the left side about ½ mile.

Central Expressway North (from Dallas) to Exit 31 (Spring Creek Pkwy), go left under the highway and stay on Spring Creek for about ½ mile. Tennis Center is on the right side.

Central Expressway North (from Dallas) to McDermott (exit 34). Go East on McDermott (right). Once you cross over Greenville (Hwy. 5), go approx. 3.5 miles. High School will be on the left hand side.

Central Expressway North (from Dallas) to Exit 28 (Plano Parkway). Take Plano Parkway east and turn left onto Los Rios Blvd. Los Rios Blvd. dead-ends into Plano East Senior High School. Plano East is at the corner of Los Rios Blvd. and San Gabriel. Courts are on the northeast corner of the campus.

Central Expressway North (from Dallas) to Exit 29 (15th Street, Whitsitt Pkwy, FM 544). Go left under highway (west). Stay on 15th Street until Custer Road. Turn right on Custer and left on Park Blvd. High School is on right side. Entrance to court is on Park Blvd.

Central Expressway North (from Dallas) to Exit 30 (Parker Road). Take Parker Road West. Plano West is between Preston Road and the Dallas Tollway. North Dallas Tollway (North from Dallas), exit Parker Road and go East. School will be on North side (left) of road.
