TX JR PTS: Level 1 Grand Slam Points
NAT'L JR PTS: Level 3
ELIGIBILITY: This tournament is for qualified Texas Super
Championship resident junior players ONLY. Out-of-section players
are not eligible.
DOUBLES: Players MUST sign up in the same
age divisions as in singles and with doubles partner's USTA
ID number before entry deadline. Teams that are not paired up will
not be placed on the draw. Only one of the doubles partners need to
be of Super Championship qualified status.
HEADQUARTERS: Texas A&M George P. Mitchell Tennis Center
at Penberthy Rd., College Station, TX 77843
CHECK-IN: 3:00 - 7:00pm Friday, June 10th. All others may
check-in at there site prior to their match.
SCHEDULE OF PLAY: Doubles (BG 14-18) start on Friday, June
10th at 3:00pm and will play 2 rounds. Singles (BG 14-18) start on
Saturday, June 11th at 8:00am. Doubles BG12 start Sunday, June 12th
at 4:00pm. Singles BG12 start Monday, June 13th at 8:00am
FORMAT: Mandatory Feed-in consolation through Quarterfinals
of the main draw, with mandatory 3rd/4th place play-off for
semifinal losers in the main draw of singles.
REFUND POLICY: No refunds after entry deadline or for
weather-related cancellation.
HOTELS: Hotel Code Name is Texas Grand Slam Tennis. Cut-off
for special rate is Thursday, May 19th.

ABOUT THE NIKE JUNIOR TOUR (NJT)
ABOUT THE NIKE JUNIOR TOUR The Nike Junior Tour (NJT) is a
worldwide series of junior singles tournaments for Boys and Girls
in the 12 and 14 age groups. There are currently 34 countries
participating in the NJT, representing over 60,000 players. Former
NJT International Masters participants include Rafael Nadal, Juan
Martin Del Potro and Tomas Berdych. The winner(s) of this event
will be invited to compete at the NJT USA National Masters in
September at the Evert Tennis Academy, Sept 16-18. The NJT USA
National Masters is a Level II USTA National event. Nike provides
round trip transportation, food and lodging for the winner(s) (B14,
B12, G14, G12) plus one team coach. The NJT USA National Masters
winners advance to play in the NJT International Masters in
December, at Club Med Sandpiper in Port St. Lucie FL. Expenses for
the International Masters are paid for by Nike.
NIKE JUNIOR TOUR AGE ELIGIBILITY
NJT USA qualifying leads to the NJT International Masters where 28
countries participate. Therefore, to be eligible for the NJT USA
National Masters and the NJT International Masters, players must
meet the ITF (International Tennis Federation) age eligibility
cutoff date of December 31st. Example: If you are currently 13, but
will turn 14 on or before December 31, 2011, you may play in the
Section Championship in the 14's but WOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE to
compete in the 14's at the NJT USA National Masters or the
International Masters. Players should consider the ITF age
eligibility to determine which age group to enter if they want to
be eligible to go on to the NJT USA National Masters or
International Masters.
