Plenty of Practice Courts
There are tons of practice courts in the immediate area for you to use. We'd recomment The University of Texas at Dallas, Pearce High School, and two courts in a neat little park. There are two great courts in a little park opposite a Tom Thumb and Starbuck's at the intersection of Renner and Custer. That's about 1 mile from Canyon Creek. The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) has 8 courts and is located about half a mile from Canyon Creek Country Club at 800 West Campbell Road, Richardson, TX 75080. The easiest way to get to the courts is to enter the UTD campus at the intersection of Floyd and Lookout. Turn left into the first parking lot and follow the outside curve of the parking lot to your left. At the intersection of Armstrong and Road A turn right onto Road A and the courts will be on the right. Watch where you park to avoid getting a ticket. Park only in the Gold or Green marked parking slots. DO NOT PARK on the campus streets where there is no marked parking slot or you will receive a parking ticket. You are not required to put money in the parking meters on the weekends. There are also 8 nice practice courts at Pearce High School which is located at 1600 North Coit Road, Richardson, TX 75080. Those of you playing at Richardson High School have two courts within walking distance of your site in Cottonwood Park.

Richardson High School Site Information and Directions
The Boys' 18, Girls' 18, and Girls' 16 divisions will be playing at Richardson High School. Map and directions are available via the attached link. We know that you have played tennis at High School courts that have been, well, pretty basic. But we think you are going to love the Richardson High School site! The tennis center is located at 1250 West Belt Line Road just east of the intersection of Coit and Belt Line. You will find parking and the courts on the south side of the street opposite the main school building. We love this site because it has 9 beautiful new outdoor courts, built in bathrooms, and easy access to shopping and restaurants. There is a Whole Foods, Starbucks, supermarket, and all kinds of restaurants within walking distance of the courts (at the intersection of Coit and Belt Line). We will have ice and water available and we'll also be selling bottled waters 2/$1 and Gatorades for $1 for your convenience. Your nearest warm-up courts will be at Cottonwood Park--in the park next to the courts, or at Pearce High School which is a straight shot North up Coit--two intersections away from RHS.

Shopping and Entertainment
Our pick for shopping, dining, and the movies would be Northpark Center. It's located at 8687 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX--just exit at Northwest Highway and it's on the west side of the highway. Their website is www.northparkcenter.com--check it out! It's approximately 10 miles from Canyon Creek Country Club--and well worth a visit. The attached link provides map and directions.
