We hope the court shortage is temporary. Limiting the draw, increasing the days of play will mostly affect
the men's draws.

INFORMATION FOR MEN
Draw size will be limited to 32 for singles and 16 teams in doubles for the 55,60,65, and 70 divisions. In the 75 and 80 divisions the draw is limited to 16 in singles and 8 teams in doubles. If other draws are not fully subscribed, additional players will be able to enter. There is NO CONSOLATION in the men's divisions. There will be a 3rd place playoff. If fewer than 32 players enter, everyone who enters will be in the draw. Players are limited to ONE singles, but may enter 2 events.

INFORMATION FOR WOMEN
Draw size is limited to 16 in singles and 8 teams in doubles in all divisions. (Last year that would have no impact). Consolation will be offered, as well as 3rd place playoff. A 10 point tie-break will be used as the third set in consolation singles and consolation doubles. Players will be limited to two events, but only ONE singles.

ENTRY SELECTION PROCESS
The draws will be limited to the best 32 or 16 players entered. For singles the NATIONAL ROLLING STANDINGS will be used for the first 20 spots (first 10 in 16 draw), and the tournament committee will use "ALL FACTORS" for the remaining 12 (6) slots. Only the "ALL FACTORS" method will be used for team selection in doubles.

Entries by mail and phone will be posted upon arrival. There is a non-refundable charge for online entries. If you are not selected as a player in the draw, you will forfeit the online processing fee. Singles entry fee: $50. (online it is $50.+processing fee)
Doubles entry fee $40 (online it is $40 + processing fee)

We have revisited area locations for 2010. Around the SRQ airport you can find Sleep Inn, LaQuinta, Hyatt Place Hotel, Courtyard Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn and a new Hampton Inn.(20-25 min drive to courts).

The Hotel Indigo is a boutique-style hotel situated adjacent to Sarasota Bay, eight miles from the LBK Tennis Center. The tournament rate is $114+.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, November 19, 2010 6:00:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
