Championships 2010, the NETA will raffle off a one-week Scholarship
for a junior to attend the IMG/Nick Bolletteri Tennis Academy in
Bradenton Florida, All Juniors can fill out a free raffle card at
the Tournament desk and a name will be drawn under strick
supervision at the conclusion of the tournament on July 4th 2010,
The winner of this scholarship must use it within 12 months from
date of receipt." "At this year's Sectional Championships
Scholarships will be given out to Juniors to attend IMG/ Nick
Bolletteri Tennis Academy, these Scholarships will be will be given
to promising Juniors in this Year's NETA tournament at Yale," (Past
recipients of the IMG scholarships are not eligible to participate
in the scholarship drawing. The drawing is for new Juniors who have
not benefitted from receiving an IMG scholarship in the past.)
There will be a Silent Auction with tennis items from Men and Women
on the ATP/WTA Tour, from James and Thomas Blake and many other,
this will help to raise money for the NETA Juniors Development
Tennis Programs around New England Section. Items will also be
given by players who are coming to the Pilot Pen Tennis Tournament
2010. there will be awards handed out to Juniors. On Friday July
2nd their will be a cook out free of charge for all juniors at Yale
Tournament site starting at 3pm. On Saturday and Sunday there will
be food for sale by Vendors.
