Please Check the draws again before the start of play, some of the Sites & times have changed. It is the players responsibility to note these changes.

In matches without an official on court, players are expected to follow the Code.

All players must have a copy of a Birth Certificate or Green Card on file in the Southern office for proof of citizenship. If you do not see your name in the search, fax to 770-368-9091 or e-mail to howard@sta.usta.com more info

All players must have their medical release form with them at check in. Please have this document ready prior to check in !

Players with first round byes in the Girls 18s and 16s will not play on Wednesday. Their first round times will be posted Monday morning (November 19).

The Draws will be made Friday, November 16 at 12.00 p.m. E.S.T. The Draws and First match times will be posted Friday, November 16 at 5.00 p.m. E.S.T. Any late entries for unfilled draws after 5.00 p.m Friday, November 16 will go on an alternates list. For a late entry alternate to be eligible, their rank cannot be higher than a seeded player!

Players may check in and receive their tournament package from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday night (11/20). The tournament desk is located on the second floor of the Louisville Indoor Racquet Club. *Please have your MEDICAL RELEASE FORM ready at check in, as this will help speed up the process. Also, please make sure your BIRTH CERTIFICATE is on file at the Southen Office before you check in. Players will be able to check in prior to their first match on Wednesday (11/21) if they can't make it on Tuesday, and please be early!

Please note that there are five sites being used for the Tournament. It is the PLAYERS RESPONSIBILTY to be aware of the sites and times of their matches. The following sites will be used: 1. Louisville Indoor Racquet Club, Springhurst, & Fern Valley will have practice courts available by reservation before match play. The rate for all practice courts is $12/hour and $6/1/2 hour per court. *There is plenty of free outdoor hard courts available at Tom Sawyer State Park which is 5 minutes away from the main site. The bubble at LIRC will be available for practice courts all day Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but will be used for match play on Thursday!

The Fall Southern Closed Championships is a Southern Level 2 and a National Level 4 tournament. In the divisions of BG(14, 16, 18), the draws will be limited to 64. In the BG(12) division, the draws will be limited to 48. All draws will have a full feed in consolation through the Quarterfinals and a 3rd and 4th playoff. All main draw matches are best 2 out of 3 sets. All consolations matches will use a (10 point) Match Tie Break to decide a third set. All selections will be made by the Southern Section, their selections will be based on the Ranking Points for the age division they enter.

The Competitor's list and the ordered Alternate's list will be available by Friday, November 9, by 3.00 p.m.
