USTA Member Appreciation Party
USTA Northern is hosting a Member Appreciation Party as part of the Junior Sectionals in Sioux Falls. All players and families are invited to this free event courtesy of USTA Northern. Come enjoy delicious burgers, brats and other picnic fare as well as a chance to win prizes. Sunday, June 10th, 5:00-7:00 p.m., McKennan Park (26th and Minnesota).

Starting Dates for Play
Doubles play will start Friday evening June 8th at 4pm for BG's 18's and 16's. Some singles play for 18's and 16's will begin on Friday the 8th. 18's and 16's Singles will finish on Sunday the 11th. The 14's and 12's Singles will begin on Sunday with Doubles on Saturday evening. Please continue to check the website for further updates.

ACT Testing
Player may take the ACT test in Sioux Falls, hours are: 9am - 12pm on June 9th. Please check the ACT website for registration information. If you are taking the test, accomodations will try to be met regarding match times.

College Night
Third Annual College Night Scheduled for June 10 in Sioux Falls
Prospective college tennis athletes, parents and high school coaches are invited to the USTA Northern College Night on June 10, 2007, from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. at Westward Ho Country Club, 3400 West 22nd Street, Sioux Falls, SD. College Night is being held in conjunction with the 2007 USTA Northern Junior Sectional Championships at McKennan Park and is open to tournament players and the public. College Night will give students, parents and coaches a head start in the college search and answer some very important questions for the prospective college athlete. Experts and a panel of coaches will provide you with information on recruiting, admissions, testing, scholarship opportunities and how to select the right college. A $10.00 fee per student athlete will be assessed at the door. Each athlete will receive a copy of the USTA Guide to Tennis on College Campuses.

Doubles Play
Each event will have a doubles draw, 8 game pro-set, single elimination. (Doubles is optional and limited to the first 16 teams in each age group. Players are encouraged to play).

Summer Endorsements - National Events
This tournament is the qualifier for the 2007 summer National Team events (Zonals, Intersectionals and the 18's Team Championships), as well as the National Championships (Clay and Hard Court).

Reminder: Qualifying for 2007 Asfora SD Open Jr Sectionals
Please remember that in order to gain entry into the 2007 Asfora SD Open Jr Sectional, you must have played 3 championship tournaments of any level (L3, L4, L5 or L6) in any combination within the past 12 month period.
