if you do not come to the Friday check in then you must check in th the main site at least an hour before your match time. This is to help you, since the other two sites are 20 to 30 minutes away from the main site. Also we will have on site alternates at least for the boys so if you are not here for your match they will take your place in the tournament.

Draws will be posted on Thursday afternoon with starting times for the first three days. Please be aware that your start time, location, opponent and place on the draw is subject to change till Saturday morning due to withdraws. It is each players responsibility to check the draw regularly once it has been posted.

1st and 2nd round of main draw will be played on Saturday for both boys and girls. Seeded players will not start play till Sunday. On Sunday we will do two rounds of consolation and one round of main draw. Monday will be two rounds of consolations, one round of main draw and Doubles begins.

You will not be put in the tournament unless I talk to you directly or we correspond by e-mail or I leave you a phone message and you return my call in a timely fashion. Please check the alternate list regularly since players have been droping out on a regular basis.

You must be here to sign up for doubles, we will do the sign up till July 10th till 12:00 PM, we will then do the draw and we will start first round of doubles on Monday afternoon. Single elimination draw for doubles.

Clay practice courts will be available to tournament players on Thursday July 7th and Friday July 8th. You can't reserve them available on first come first serve basis. You might have to share a court come Friday evening. Once the tournament starts only hard courts will be available since all other clay will be used for the tournament.

Please download the medical release form and bring it to the tournament when you are checking in. You will not be able to play the tournament without filling one out. We will have them on site however it would be easier for everybody if they where filled out ahead of time. Thank You.

Check in for the tournament players will be on July 8th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Players meeting will be held on July 8th at 7:00 PM. This is not a mandotory check in or meeting, however valuable tournament information will be given out during that meeting and all players will be resposible for that information, it is up to you. It is also very helpfull to the tournament if players check into the tournament on the 8th during the designated check in time.

We will have a table for all the college coaches to be able to put their schools information on, and coaches will be able to get telephone numbers and addresses of players in the tournament. However we do not have information for any of the kids who is still looking for a schoolarship or who is just graduated or who is still in High School.

From the South: Take 15/501 north to 15/501 Bypass, 54 intersection. Take 54 west (Bypass) toward Carrboro. Follow 54 past the exit for Greensboro St. Westbrook Dr. is the second left beyond Greensboro St. (Carolina apartments will be on the right). Club dead ends on Westbrook Drive. From Durham: Take 15/501 Bypass around Chapel Hill to its connection with 54 Bypass. Take 54 Bypass west, see above. From Raleigh: Take I-40 to Chapel Hill and exit at 273A west onto 54 into Chapel Hill, then take 54 west Bypass at Glen Lennox Shopping Center. Follow 54 Bypass and 15/501 toward Carrboro, etc. See above.

All applicants that missed the deadline no matter what your ranking is will be put at the bottom of the Alternate list.

The Southern Office did the selection of players for the tournament. Here is how the players got selected. #1. National Standing in Age group of tournament #2. National Standing in age group below the tournament age. #3. National Ineligible standing (1-99 points) in age group of tournament #4. National Ineligible standing in age group below the tournament age.

While most matches will be played at Chapel Hill Tennis Club, we will also have matches played at Hope Valley Country Club as well as The UNC Faculty Center (The Farm) All matches will be played on CLAY unless we have rain and then we will make the appropriate adjustments to finish the tournament.

Game Set and Match will be video taping all match play at CHTC, you may buy the video of your match after the match from Game Set and Match.

You will not be charged for the tournament if you are not selected for the tournament, if you are selected for the tournament but do not withdrawl 7 days before the 9th of July then you will not be eligable for a refund. You must withdrawl before Sunday July 3rd to receive a refund. You must e-mail me your name and USTA number to be withdrawn from the tournament, phone messages are unclear; do too mubling messages, poor cell phone receptions, or my crappy machine at work.
