All players must have a Birth Certificate on file in the Southern office for proof of US Citizenship. Green cards will be accepted. Passports are not accepted. A report of those with proof on file is posted above.

MEDICAL RELEASE is now REQUIRED by SOUTHERN prior to playing the matches. Parent or guardian MUST SIGN. Please download from this website and bring with you to registration if possible. Otherwise the form MUST be completed at the time of player registration. more info more info more info

Players withdrawing prior to the deadline should do so on-line. Players withdrawing within 7 days of the tournament start date will not be refunded the entry fee. All withdrawals must be sent in writing by E-mail to hatfield@sta.usta.com. No phone withdrawals

Draws will be 64 players with a Full Feed In through the Quarters and 3/4 playoff. Main Draw will play the best two out of three tie-break sets. Feed-in will be the best of three sets playing a 10 point match tie break in lieu of third set. Main Draw will play two rounds each day.The Consolation draws will play one match on Saturday, three matches on Sunday and three on Monday. In the event of inclement weather, match format is subject to change.

Dunlop balls will be used. New ball will be furnished for the third set in the main draw.

Alternates by Event Report will be updated. Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot come. It is the alternates' responsibility to check the website to see if your alternate status has changed. The tournament will make every effort to contact you if your status does change to being in the tournament. You should make sure your contact information is correct on your membership profile. Once an alternate is selected for play, payment is due immediately.

Draws and First Match times will be posted no later than 5pm April 27, 2005.

BOYS AND GIRLS 12'S are being played at TRYON PARK (Greer Recreation Center, Tryon Park, 226 Oakland St., Greer, SC 29650) in Greer,S.C.a suburb of Greenville. This is located off Wade Hampton Blvd, (Highway 29). All 12's Register AT THIS SITE. Registration will be available Friday evening 5p.m. till 7p.m or 30 minutes prior to your first match. BOYS AND GIRLS 14's are being played at Anderson Civic Center (Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center, 3027 Mall Rd, Anderson, SC 29625) in Anderson, S.C. All 14's Register AT THIS SITE. Registration will be available Friday evening 5p.m. till 7p.m or 30 minutes prior to your first match. This site is approx.40 minutes to Clemson, 45 minutes to Greer, 1 hour to Furman. Registration will be available Friday evening 5p.m. till 7p.m or 30 minutes prior to your first match. This site is approx.45 min to 1 hour to Furman, 1 hour to Greer and 30 minutes to Anderson. BOY'S AND GIRL'S 18'S are being played at FURMAN UNIVERSITY (3300 Poinsette Hwy, Greenville, SC). All 18's Register AT THIS SITE. Registration will be available Friday evening 5p.m. till 7p.m or 30 minutes prior to your first match. Furman is 45 min away, Anderson is one hour and Greer is 30 minutes away. Late entries may be accepted or a new player may be sustituted in to the draw if the Tournament Committee determines that the ability of a new player does not invalidate the seeding. Late entries will go to the bottom of the alternates list. E-mail hatfield@sta.usta.com

Top 64 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest Standing List..56 players from this age group will be selected and up to 8 players from the younger age group who are eligible for the younger age group, who have a standing in the top 80 of the younger age group, and are not in the selected 56, will be selected. Selections will be posted no later than 5PM April 20, 2005.
