The Crystal Inn is located right off of I-15 and the belt route, allowing easy access to all of the sites. They are located close to the Sports Mall and the Brighton High School Courts, with easy access to the main roads to Corner Canyon High School and Herriman High School. They offer a very nice complimentary breakfast, an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, an exercise room and Free Parking.

Sportsmanship Awards will be given to one girl and one boy for their outstanding behavior both on and off the court. A new HEAD Racquet Bag will be given to each of the Sportsmanship winners, A huge Thank You to Head / Penn Racquet Sports! If you would like to nominate someone for these awards - please talk to the Desk Manager and they will write down your comments.

Changes in the draws can and often do occur as players may drop out at the last minute. Please check your draws carefully online. Matches will begin at 8:00 am on September 4th. Please make your travel plans accordingly.

A $15 LATE FEE WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY PLAYER WO WANTS TO REGISTER LATE FOR THE 2021 ITA LABOR DAY MASTERS TOURNAMENT. A late registration will only be accepted into the main draw if there are less than 64 players in that division. For divisions with more than 64 players, late registrants will be placed at the bottom of the alternate list. PLEASE SIGN UP ONLINE AND ON TIME.

IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A REFUND IF YOU WITHDRAW FROM THIS TOURNAMENT, YOU MUST NOTIFY ME BY EMAIL (rwise@utahtennis.com) with a message stating that you are withdrawing from the tournament by 11:59 pm Sunday, August 29th. As per Friend at Court "The Tournament Committee shall refund a player's entry fee if the player withdraws no later than seven days before the start of the tournament. No refund is required beginning six days before the start date of the tournament. The electronic entry fee is not considered a part of the entry fee and is non-refundable."

Singles matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring, with a 10 point tiebreak played in lieu of the 3rd set for all main draw and consolation draw singles matches. Singles matches will begin at 8:00 am on Saturday.

Doubles matches will be 8 game Pro Sets with a 7 Point Tiebreak at 8 games all, and are single elimination. YOU AND YOUR DOUBLES PARTNER MUST PLAY IN THE SAVE DIVISION THAT YOU ARE PLALYING SINGLES IN. For example - if you are playing in the Boy's 12 Singles and Doubles Divisions, your partner can NOT be playing in the Boy's 14 Singles Division. These types of requests CAN NOT be accommodated due to the potential scheduling and match location conflicts. If you would like me to pair you with a doubles partner, you must email me at rwise@utahtenis.com no later than Friday, August 13th.

ON THE THIRD OVERRULE OF A PLAYER'S LINE CALLS, THE POINT PENALTY SYSTEM WILL TAKE EFFECT. ON THE THIRD OVERRULE IT WILL BE A POINT. ON THE FOURTH OVERRULE IT WILL BE GAME. ON THE 5TH OVERRULE IT WILL BE MATCH.

Players, please remember that as per Friend at Court, the players are solely responsible for learning the time and location of their matches. Tournament desk personnel will give out match times to players if asked, HOWEVER "The Players should not rely on being told the time of their matches and should always check the draw." THE EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE WOULD BE IF I RESCHEDULE A MATCH BECAUSE A PREVIOUS MATCH RAN LONG, OR GODZILLA TORCHED ALL OF THE TENNIS BALLS, etc. In those types of instances, the Site Director will let the players know the new time that the match will be played. IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, YOU SHOULD ALWAYS CONFIRM YOUR MATCH TIMES AGAINST THE DRAW.

There will be a Videotaping Permission Form available at the Tournament Desk. Parents or guardians of the tournament participants will need to fill out this form in order to be able to video tape anything that will include the other player. This form will require a parent or guardian's consent and signature to allow the video taping of the full court. You of course can always videotape your own player, but for the protection of the other minor player, you will need to fill out the form prior to videotaping anything that will include the other player.

Please obey all rules ad policies for the tennis venues and hotels. Anyone involved in any questionable conduct at guest facilities will be defaulted from the tournament. Please be respectful of others, be courteous to the tournament staff and volunteers. An occasional THANK YOU goes a long way! Please help to keep the tournament sites clean by picking up your trash on the grounds and courts. THANK YOU!

Boy's 18 Matches will be played at the Corner Canyon High School for the first three days of the tournament and then move to another site for their finals - please check your draws carefully. Corner Canyon High School is located at 12943 South 700 East in Draper - the courts are on the south side of the school.
