THIS IS A SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY FOR YOUR MATCH
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match time. In accordance with USTA tournament rules, penalties are assessed beginning with a player arriving 1 minute late.

MATCH LOCATIONS
BHS = Brighton High School - located at 2400 East Bengal Blvd., Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121. CC = Corner Canyon High School - located at 12943 South 700 East, Draper. IR = Ivory Ridge Swim & Tennis Club - located at 62 East Clubview Lane, Lehi, UT 84043. LP = Liberty Park - the entrance to Liberty Park is located at 900 South 650 East, Salt Lake City. OHP = Olympus Hills Park Tennis Courts - 3131 East 4500 South, Salt Lake City. SRHS = Skyridge High School - located at 3000 North Center, Lehi, UT 84043 - this High School is located west of Ivory Ridge. SM = Sports Mall - 5445 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. In case of inclement weather, players may be sent to alternative locations in order to compete the matches for the day, or matches may be rescheduled. Please read the instructions under THE BIG "R" POLICY.

DRAWS
Draws are posted 3 days prior to the event. It is the player's responsibility to check the draws for scheduled match times. Draws are posted on the website at www.utahtennis.com. The spring weather is unpredictable. Always check the tournament website before your matches. It is the player's responsibility to check for any changes that may occur.

RESCHEDULING POLICY
Due to the potential weather issues and the availability of courts, there will be no rescheduling of matches, except by the tournament director in cases of rain or snow. Players rescheduling without permission will be defaulted. FINALS MAY NOT BE RESCHEDULED.

THE BIG "R" POLICY
IF MATCHES ARE RESCHEDULED BECAUSE OF WEATHER, I WILL POST INSTRUCTIONS ON THE TOURNAMENT WEBSITE. In case of RAIN - please do not leave the site, weather can change quickly and matches may be resumed sooner than you think. Even if the weather looks "iffy" where you are (unless otherwise instructed by a Tournament Official) always go to your site to check in for your match, regardless of weather conditions. If there is a rain delay, alternative instructions will be provided by the tournament desk. Playing indoors will be a last resort and every effort will be made to reschedule matches outdoors if weather permits. Players may be sent to alternative locations in order to complete the day's matches. PLEASE BE PATIENT!

REFUNDS
No refunds will be given after the draws have been made - which is two days before the draws are posted.

FORMAT FOR BOY'S AND GIRL'S 12-18 DIVISIONS
Best 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring. 7 point tiebreak at 6 games all, single elimination.

FORMAT FOR 'S DIVISIONS
The Green 10's Division will play on full size (78') courts with the green dot low compression ball. The Orange 10's Division will play on 60' courts with orange low compression balls. All singles and doubles matches will be two short sets with a match tiebreak to 7 (win by 2 points) in lieu of a 3rd set. The short set format used will be the first player to 4 games, ahead by two. If the score reaches 4-4 in games, a 7 point tiebreak will be played to determine the winner of the set. Matches will be no-ad scoring.

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
The Rules of Tennis and USTA Tournament Regulations, including the Point Penalty system, will be enforced throughout the tournament, It is the players responsibility to know and understand these rules. Roving Umpires may be present al all Sanctioned Tournaments and will call obvious infractions of the Code and Rules of Tennis. THE CODE CONCERNING SPECTATORS - SPECTATORS ARE NEVER TO MAKE CALLS. A PLAYER SHOULD NEVER ENLIST THE AID OF A SPECTATOR IN MAKING A CALL. NO SPECTATOR HAS A PART IN THE MATCH!

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, April 13, 2021 12 Midnight Mountain Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
