If you wish to be an on-site alternate, please go to the designated site for your playing division (Boys 18s - VDM Tennis Center, Girls 18s - Shipyard Racquet Club). You MUST be on-site by and text the tournament director Katie Ruth at (803)-240-2573 to let her know that you are here. This must be done by 8am if you wish to be a doubles alternate, or 9am if you wish to be a singles alternate. On-site alternates will be selected in order of ranking from the current alternate list.

Player gifts will be located at your singles site. Please pick them up from the "unofficial tournament desk." At the VDM Tennis Center this will be located upstairs in the "Blue room." At Shipyard Racquet Club, this will be located in the downstairs area of the indoor courts (the "Green room").

Please DO NOT pay attention to verbiage such as non-ranking or non-sanctioned. We are SOLELY using this software for this tournament due to the size of the draws. Everything will be transferred to the new system and you WILL get all of your ranking points. This tournament is a Level 4 Closed for ranking purposes.

Players and spectators must wear masks starting in the parking lot and for the duration on site. The proper way to wear a mask is to always to ensure it covers your nose and mouth.

All 64 players who were selected for singles were also selected for doubles. If you are in the main draw for singles, and do not wish to play doubles, please notify the tournament director, Katie Ruth: katiewhite88@hotmail.com

The format of play for singles is a 64 Draw with a feed-in draw through round of 32 & a separate Curtis consolation draw for round of 16 & quarterfinalists. The scoring for both main & consolation singles draws is Best 2 of 3 sets with a Match Tie-break in lieu of 3rd set. The format of play for doubles is a 32 Draw, Single elimination with a 3rd/4th Playoff. The scoring for Doubles is a 8-game set with add. There will be a 3rd and 4th place play off in singles and doubles.

In response to the COVID-19, we will be using Match Tennis App’s Virtual Tournament Desk technology to help facilitate CDC best practices.

There will be a certified trainer from Drayer Physical Therapy at Shipyard Racquet Club throughout the duration of the tournament. If you need to see the trainer, please find your way to the Shipyard site for this service. Experienced stringing will be provided at the Van Der Meer Tennis Center pro shop only, at the cost of $15 for labor. Our VDM Pro Shops carry Dunlop string. If you need another kind of string, please be prepared to bring it with you!

During hours of play:
You must see the on-site trainer and get approval from the Head Referee. The trainer and Head Referee are located at the VDM Tennis Center location. Do not tell just anyone at the desk and think you have properly defaulted. Unless you speak to the Head Referee in person, it will count as a "No Show" and will accumulate suspension points. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE. If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, a visit with the onsite trainer is required.
After play has ended for the day:
If you become ill or injured (or personal emergency) after play has ended for the day, email your detailed withdrawal to the tournament director (katie@vdmtennis.com)
Check draws nightly for changes:
Check your draw carefully each evening after 8 p.m. to verify time, locations, and if there has been a withdrawal that effects your next match.

Shared Practice courts are available first come, first serve at VDM Shipyard and VDM Tennis Center Friday 2-4.30pm.

Beginning Saturday am, shared practice courts are available first come, first serve at each site from 7-7.45am. Matches will begin at 8am.
