Communication
THIS TOURNAMENT HOMEPAGE IS HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH YOU ALL THE INFORMATION WE KNOW. There will be many updates as questions arise and software changes are made. Here are some examples:
EMAIL IS THE BEST WAY TO COMMUNICATE - tennismobile@gmail.com For most of your questions or concerns, I have to be at the computer to help you. So please email and include a cell number in case I have to call you.

Withdrawals
WITHDRAWALS - a few days ago people were not able to withdraw through the system and we were told this would not be corrected until Jan 19th. Dec 30th, a player told me they sucessfully withdrew but I have not verified this. If you need to withdraw, do your best to withdraw through the system. If you are having trouble, email tennismobile@gmail.com by the deadline of Wednesday, January 6th at 4:59 pm Central Time in order not to be charged. If you wait until after that time to withdraw you will most likely be selected and charged. There are NO REFUNDS if you do not withdraw by the deadline whether it be through the system or email. We understand this is a new system, but everyone needs to do a little more to make sure they are aware of important deadlines and your intentions are documented and timely regardless of how the system is working; because email is always working.

Doubles
DOUBLES - As of now, you CANNOT enter a doubles partner. Below are procedures USTA Southern wants you to use for finding and pairing a doubles partner through the Match Tennis App. You will want to do this because if you are showing in the app without a partner, people will continue to contact you for pairing. IN ADDITION TO USING THE APP, YOU MUST EMAIL YOUR DOUBLES PARTNER NAME TO tennismobile@gmail.com. While the Match Tennis App is a great tool for getting you partnered and on the court, my direct line of communication to you is through this Tournament Homepage and Direct Emails. If you email me to add your partner, I will take the action after selections have been made, respond to that email, and you will be able to see it on the Tournament Homepage. You must play the same age division in singles and doubles, this is a long-standing policy of USTA Southern. Deadline to make doubles changes through email such as withdraw, add a partner, or state you will take a random partner is Monday, January 11th.

If you are player that has moved into the Southern Section and have changed your USTA Membership to Southern, after January 1st 2021, please let us know if you should be considered for seeding- we are using the Southern Tennis Link Ranking from 1/2/1/2020- 12/31/2020 for seeding, therefore if you moved into the section in January you will not show up on that list.
