DRAW & SCORING FORMATS
The B18's Division draw is an 8 player compass draw. The G18's Division is a 6 player first match loser consolation format draw. Most matches will be played using a 6 game short-set, no ad scoring format. If a match is tied at 5 games all, a 7 point tiebreaker will be played to determine the winner. The G18's Consolation Final and possibly the G18's 3/4 playoff (depending on the results of the G18 main draw semi-final) will be played using an 8 game pro set format with regular scoring and a 7 point breaker at 8 games all.

TOURNAMENT BALL
Pro Penn Marathon tennis balls will be used for all matches. This is the same ball that will be used for the ITA Fall Closed Level 3 event in November. Singles sticks will also be used for all matches.

SELECTION PROCESS
There are two divisions in this tournament (18 & Under Boys and 18 & Under Girls). The top 8 boys and top 8 girls, based on highest UTR ratings, will be selected to compete in each division.

Notes
This is a three round, sanctioned L6 tournament, running from
5-8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 23 at the Darling Tennis Center
located at 7901 W. Washington Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89128. Competitors
will be chosen based on UTR ratings. The eight highest UTR-rated
boys and girls will be chosen to compete in this event. If two
players have the same UTR, the first criteria for selection will be
national ranking, followed by sectional ranking (if national
ranking data is absent), then district ranking (if sectional
ranking data is absent), and finally head-to-head results if
ranking data is not available.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, October 21, 2020 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
