ATTENTION: COVID RULES IN REGARDS TO SPECTATORS AND
PLAYERS.Due to the limited viewing areas at the Sports Mall you
will only be allowed 1 spectator per player per match. Masks are
required upon entry to the Sports Mall and throughout the facility.
Masks may be removed by players while on court. Social distance 6
feet or more. Players can arrive no more than 15 min before their
match and must leave within 15 min of match completion. There is no
water on courts but available in locker rooms and by the swimming
pool entrance. Viewing areas are as follows…
Bubble-When possible, 1 of the 4 courts will be left open for
spectators.
Indoor (1-4)-Lounge viewing and hallway viewing
Indoor (5-8)-Hallway viewing

THIS TOURNAMENT. WE HAVE GREAT PARTICIPATION NUMBERS THIS YEAR.

There will be no play Sunday or on Thanksgiving.
CHALLENGER DEFINITION: A challenger is a novice player who has not
won an open tournament. A junior may continue to participate in
challenger events, in their age appropriate division, until they
have won no more than two (2) Challenger tournaments. After two (2)
Challenger tournament wins, a junior is no longer eligible for a
challenger event until they age up. A player may not play out of
his/her age division in a challenger event until the month in which
the junior ages up.
FORMAT FOR 12'S CHALLENGER DIVISIONS: 12's Challenger Divisions
will be played on 78' (full size) courts with green low compression
balls.
FORMAT FOR 10'S CHALLENGER DIVISIONS: 10's Challenger Divisions
will be played on 60' courts with orange low compression balls.
10's matches will be best of 3 short sets (first to 4 games), if
the score is tied at 4-4 in games, a 7 point tiebreak will be
played to determine the winner of that set. Matches will be no-ad
scoring.
Due to the unpredictability of match outcomes, we are unable to
take match time avoidance requests beyond the first day of the
tournament. Avoidance requests must be made with the Tournament
Director prior to the tournament deadline..
RESCHEDULING POLICY -Finals may NOT be rescheduled! There will be
NO RESCHEDULING of matches except in extreme circumstances beyond
the control of the players and then only with prior approval of the
Tournament Director. Players rescheduling without permission will
be DEFAULTED! All costs of rescheduling are the responsibility of
the initiator. Players are under NO obligation to reschedule when
asked by an opponent.
This is a single elimination tournament.
This is a singles tournament. NO doubles divisions are
offered
Player Selection TypeNo Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, November 11, 2020 11:59:00 PM Atlantic Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
