OCTOBER REGISTRATION RESTRICTIONS
All super champ eligible players may register and compete for a Level 3 tournament on October 3-5. Players may also compete in EITHER a Level 4 Super Champ on October 10-12 OR the Super Champ B Draw tournament on October 17-18. Players cannot register for multiple tournaments over the same weekend. The Level 3 and Level 4 tournaments will select players based on the Super Champ Standing List. The Super Champ B Draw tournaments will select players based on the time of registration.

Tournament Format and Points
Tier 3 B Draw SCMZ Singles draws will play Ad scoring, best 2 of 3 sets with 10-point tiebreakers in lieu of 3rd set Draws will be formatted as follows based on size: -13-64 players will be FIC through Round of 16 -9-12 players will be FIC through Quarterfinals -6-8 players will be FIC through Semis. -5 players or less will be a Round Robin Players will be required to play up to 3 singles matches per day

USTA Texas Feed In Consolation through the Round of 16
Feed In Consolation through the Round of 16. Players who lose in the Quarterfinal Round will be placed into their own consolation bracket of four players and the winner of this bracket receives fifth place points. The 7th place match is not played. Play-off for the 3rd and 4th place. All draws will play a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of the third set in order to finish on Monday.

Welcome to Our Tournament
We will conduct as safe a tournament as we can in these
trying times. Please see the safety
procedures below. If you see anyway that
we can improve, please let us know. Safe Travels and Good Health! Tournament
& Facility Safety Procedures
General Information Plan to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled match
time and depart immediately after your match. The exception is 8:00am matches
which may check in as early as 7:00am but you must stay on your assigned match
court. Your opponent will be sent to your same match court. Please share that
court for warm up. Do not ‘jump on’ any court. Open courts are reserved for
members only. McLennan Community College courts will be open for warmup all day
Saturday and Sunday. No warmup courts are available at Waco Regional until
Sunday after 12:00pm.
If you need to withdraw for any reason, please do so in
writing via text or email to 254-717-8789 / mcferranc@aol.com.
Check in via text to 254-717-8789 when you arrive
in the parking lot and are ready to play. Provide your first and last name and age
division (Example: Claire McFerran G16 Checking in). You will be directed to a court or asked to
come to the desk area. Remember to check
in and follow the desk’s instructions before your scheduled match time.
Failure to go to your court as directed by the desk will result in lateness
penalties. You must check in prior to each match. We recommend that you do not
use the benches but instead use that as your 6ft guide You may come to the desk
with questions or to get an official. Please respect the 6 ft distancing for
the desk marked by the caution tape.
Report scores immediately after the match via text
to the same number. Make sure both players agree on the score. Include your court number, the winner’s name
and the winner’s score. Leave the balls and we will sanitize the benches and
pick up used balls before sending more players to the court. Your next match time will show on the draw. Questions are welcome! If you don’t text or
have internet access, you may report your score at the tournament desk and we
will gladly give you your next match time.
Bring your own ice, water bottles, towels, snacks,
etc. Bringing your own chair is a good idea for spectators and players. Emergency ice for injuries only will be
located at the tournament desk. It will
not be sanitary for consumption. Stay
hydrated!
Court usage will be tracked. If you test positive for Covid-19 up to 3 days
after the tournament, please let us know.
We will contact your opponents and the players that used the court after
you. Your name will not be
mentioned. The message will read ‘We
want to inform you that you may have come in contact with someone who has developed
Covid-19 within 3 days after playing in our October Super Champ Major Zone’.
Specific Site Instructions Waco Regional Tennis Center -Texting Number
254-717-8789 Enter through the main doors and exit through the double
doors straight ahead. Masks are required in the building. Continue past the Stadium court to the back
side of the pavilion. Restrooms are located in the front of the pavilion. There
is a no-touch water dispenser beside the restrooms Most matches will take place
on courts 5-18. The tournament desk will
be located behind caution tape under the trees next to our courts. Drinks and
snacks may be purchased in the main building.
The pro shop will be open. 6ft distancing and masks are required
indoors

Excessive Overrule Guideline:
The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."

Registration Confirmation: As a parent or player it is your responsibility to assure registration in the event. Regardless if you register on the website or mobile app after completing the registration you should visit the USTA web driven site and confirm your registration by finding the player in the applicants list. If you select to skip this process please be aware that should any malfunctions of the system occur, players will not be granted late entrance in the event due to a system error.

ATTENTION ALL SPECTATORS (INCLUDES PARENTS, COACHES, RELATIVES, FRIENDS, ETC.) In an effort to promote a more enjoyable and fair experience for all, the following policy is in immediate force and effect, and shall be diligently and stringently enforced. USTA Texas has implemented a “ZERO TOLERANCE” policy for improper behavior.
1. Any attempt by a spectator to speak to the official in an abusive or disrespectful manner regarding a line call or other ruling during match play shall be cause for immediate removal from the playing area and, if warranted, from the premises.

2. Any spectator behavior deemed unacceptable towards a player, other spectator or staff member shall be cause for immediate removal from the playing area or the entire premises. If said behavior is directed towards a player, either before, during or after a tournament, it shall result in an automatic and immediate suspension of that spectator’s right to attend USTA Texas tournaments, for a period of time to be determined by the USTA Texas Discipline and Grievance Committee. 3. Refusal to adhere to a removal request shall trigger immediate enforcement of the point penalty system against the player with whom the spectator is involved (per point penalty system regulations), including possible immediate default from the tournament. 4. The On-Site Official is the SOLE judge regarding unacceptable behavior. Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 8, 2020 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
