NEW SUNDAY MATCH TIMES:
Due to the rain delays matches have been rescheduled at Arlington and Walnut Creek for Sundays to give players more rest. Matches at Arlington Tennis Center and Walnut Creek will start at 9:00 AM. Please check your draw for new match times.
Matches at Richland Tennis Center will start at 8:00 AM.

PLAYING TENNIS SAFELY:
Bring and wear your face mask.Only 4 people in Pro Shop at one time.
Social distancing standards (6 feet) must be followed in all areas. Players and spectators should bring their own lawn chair and Chairs must have protected feet on courts. Wash or sanitize your hands often.
PLAYERS: 1. Wear your face mask. No face mask required while you are competing. 2. Social distancing standards (6 feet) must be followed in all areas. 3. Please bring your own on court seating Chairs must have protected feet on courts. 4. Bring your own Ice, Water and Towels. Drinks are available in Pro Shop. 5. Touch racquets at the end of your match instead of a handshake. 6. Please do not hang around the site after match. 7. Please check in no more than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled match time. SPECTATORS: 1. Wear a face mask. This is for your own safety! 2. Social distancing standards (6 feet) must be followed in all areas. 3. Please bring your own off court seating (chair, etc) 4. Bottled Beverages can be purchased inside the clubhouse from the club directly.

Tournament Format and Points
Tier 3 SCMZ Singles draws play Ad scoring, best 2 of 3 sets with 10-point tiebreakers in lieu of 3rd set Draws will be formatted as follows based on size: -13-64 players will be FIC through Round of 16 -9-12 players will be FIC through Quarterfinals -6-8 players will be FIC through Semis. -5 players or less will be a Round Robin Players could be required to play up to 3 singles matches per day

USTA Texas Feed In Consolation through the Round of 16
Feed In Consolation through the Round of 16. Players who lose in the Quarterfinal Round will be placed into their own consolation bracket of four players and the winner of this bracket receives fifth place points. The 7th place match is not played. Play-off for the 3rd and 4th place. All draws will play a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of the third set. In order to finish on Monday.

Player Selection
The top 64 eligible players will be selected based on the Texas Standing List. If players do not have a ranking as an eligible player on the standing list, they will be selected based on time of entry. It is a Closed event
(Texas Residents Only).

Alternates
Since selection is based on the Super Champ Standing List, alternates can be added for withdrawn players up until the draws are posted on Thursday evening.

* Size: Tournaments are limited to 256 players due to COVID-19 local restrictions and court availability
* Type: Singles only to support the recommended 6 foot spacing between players
* Draw Format: 1 draw per age group of 64 players each. Feed In Consolation (FIC) thru the round of 16.
* Scoring: All matches will be a 10-point tiebreak for the 3rd set.
* Player Selection: Players will be selected based on the Texas Standing List and it is a Closed event (Texas Residents Only). For Texas ranking points Tier 3 A draw points apply. SCMZ tournament registration will open on Monday, August 24 at 12:01am.

Excessive Overrule Guideline:
The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."

Registration Confirmation: As a parent or player it is your responsibility to assure registration in the event. Regardless if you register on the website or mobile app after completing the registration you should visit the USTA web driven site and confirm your registration by finding the player in the applicants list. If you select to skip this process please be aware that should any malfunctions of the system occur, players will not be granted late entrance in the event due to a system error.

ATTENTION ALL SPECTATORS (INCLUDES PARENTS, COACHES, RELATIVES, FRIENDS, ETC.) In an effort to promote a more enjoyable and fair experience for all, the following policy is in immediate force and effect, and shall be diligently and stringently enforced. USTA Texas has implemented a “ZERO TOLERANCE” policy for improper behavior.
1. Any attempt by a spectator to speak to the official in an abusive or disrespectful manner regarding a line call or other ruling during match play shall be cause for immediate removal from the playing area and, if warranted, from the premises.

2. Any spectator behavior deemed unacceptable towards a player, other spectator or staff member shall be cause for immediate removal from the playing area or the entire premises. If said behavior is directed towards a player, either before, during or after a tournament, it shall result in an automatic and immediate suspension of that spectator’s right to attend USTA Texas tournaments, for a period of time to be determined by the USTA Texas Discipline and Grievance Committee. 3. Refusal to adhere to a removal request shall trigger immediate enforcement of the point penalty system against the player with whom the spectator is involved (per point penalty system regulations), including possible immediate default from the tournament. 4. The On-Site Official is the SOLE judge regarding unacceptable behavior. Inappropriate umpire/spectator communication, whether it be about a ruling or any other facet of a tennis event is prohibited while a match is in pro
