WITH A POSITIVE FORECAST WE ARE PROCEEDING TO RUN THE TOURNAMENT AS PLANNED. WE WILL UPDATE YOU IF ANYTHING CHANGES.
WE ARE MONITORING THE AIR QUALITY AT ALL TIMES. SAFETY OF PLAYERS WILL BE OUR PRIORITY.

SAFETY MEASURES
-Please allow time to complete a waiver before the 1st match played at VTC
_- Please do not come if you're feeling ill/sick
-Temperature checks required
_- No spectators inside
-Participants are not required to wear face coverings while on court. Face coverings are required in the lobby, restrooms and when they are checking in and reporting scores.
_-Please bring your own chair for rest periods and outside spectating. VTC has removed all the benches.

_- VTC will be utilizing 4 outdoor courts and 9 indoor courts

SCORING FORMAT
Main Draw Singles - Regular Scoring. Best of 3 sets with 3rd set played as a 10 point match-breaker.
_Consolation - Regular Scoring Pro Set. Set Tiebreaker at 8-8.
If you lose your first round match, your first consolation match time may change due to results of other main draw matches. Please refer to draw on Tennislink for updates.
WARM UP POLICY
_The warm-up time shall be 5 minutes.
LATENESS POLICY
_(If one player or team is late)
_1. 5 minutes or less: Loss of toss plus 1 game
_2. 5:01-10 minutes: Loss of toss plus 2 games
_3. 10:01-15 minutes: Loss of toss plus 3 games
_4. More than 15 minutes: Default
ADDITIONAL POLICIES
_If you win your first round main draw match due to a default or withdraw then this counts as a match win and you will not be eligible for the consolation draw if you lose your next match.
OFFICIALS
_There will be roving officials and a head referee for this event. If an official is needed it is the responsibility of the player(s) to get an official. If an official is not available please notify the tournament desk and they will notify an official to help as soon as they can. Parents and spectators can't request officials to go on court.

_Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.

Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Friday, September 11, 2020 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
