AIR QUALITY

While the air quality has vastly improved from last week, because of the ongoing weather and air quality issues, the tournament this weekend will be INDOORS only. The tournament schedule was made based on indoor only play, so published match times are accurate.

DOUBLES UPDATE & SINGLES INFO

After consulting with the USTA, there will be NO doubles at this tournament.
However, players will be allowed to play in up to 2 singles divisions. (entry fee is required for both.)

SAFETY MEASURES

• Please allow time at check-in to complete a waiver prior to first match.
• Temperature checks required. Please do not come if you are feeling sick.
• Face coverings are required at all times, except for players while on court. Face coverings required inside (lobby, restrooms, etc)
• For indoor matches, 1 spectator per player. Any exceptions need to be cleared with the tournament director prior to the tournament.

Notes

This Closed L4 is open to USTA PNW Members only. This tournament counts for both USTA PNW and USTA National Rankings.Please designate your partner at the times of registration. Matches may start as early as 12pm (Noon) on Friday. Entries will be selected by most current USTA ranking. Maximum 32 players in singles draws, and 16 teams in doubles draws.

SCORING FORMAT
Main Draw Singles - Regular scoring. Best of 3 sets with 3rd set played at 10 point match tiebreaker.
Consolation Singles - Regular scoring Pro Set. 7-point set tiebreaker at 8-8.
Main Draw Doubles - Regular scoring Pro Set. 7-point set tiebreaker at 8-8.
- If you win your first main draw match due to a default or a withdraw then this counts as a match win and you will not be eligible for the consolation draw if you lose your next match.

WARM-UP POLICY
The warm-up time for matches is 5 minutes.

LATENESS POLICY
• 5 minutes or less: Loss of toss plus 1 game
• 5:01-10 minutes: Loss of toss plus 2 games
• 10:01-15 minutes: Loss of toss plus 3 games
• More than 15 minutes: Default

OFFICIALS
There will be roving officials for this event. If an official is needed it is the responsibility of the player to get an official. If an official is not available, please notify the tournament desk and they will notify an official to help as soon as they can. Parents and spectators can not request officials to go on court.

WARM-UP COURTS
Indoor warm-up courts are available on Friday from 10:30am - 11:45am.
On Saturday and Sunday indoor warm up courts are available from 7:00am - 7:45am.
Players are required to share 1/2 court if there is excess demand, and tournament players will receive priority over parents/coaches/hitting partners.
Outdoor courts are available all day on a first come, first serve basis, weather permitting.

Player Selection Type

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.

Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 13, 2020 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
