DO NOT check the times listed on the draws, as those times will only be changed in the evening (if applicable), not during the day.
At Delray Swim &
Tennis, there will be no one allowed to watch on the walkways between
courts 6-8, 9-11, 12-14,15-19 and 20-24. The player’s guests may watch on the
outside of the banks of tennis courts.

FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES TO ENSURE YOU'LL RECEIVE COURT ASSIGNMENTS VIA TEXT
* When setting up your Match Tennis App account, all family members should sign in with the same username and password.
* Make sure you add three DIFFERENT contact numbers during the Pre Tournament Virtual Check-In THAT WILL BE ON during the tournament. They all should be cell numbers since messages will be in the form of texts. When you are called to court, all your contact phones will receive the message. * If you need to add or change contact numbers go to “My Account” in Match Tennis App and click “Completed Waivers” to add or change contact numbers.

For the safety of all Tournament players, parents, coaches and staff we will NOT be using a physical tournament desk where social gathering is most common. We instead will be using Match Tennis App’s Virtual Tournament Desk to help facilitate CDC guidelines for social distancing. SAFETY GUIDELINES & EVENT INFO.
Important, all players must read the Safety Guidelines and register for MatchTennisApp or they cannot play.
Matches Will
Be Called using the
MatchTennisAPP 15 minutes before your start time. The player and their guest
will both receive a text with instructions. Please go directly to the Site
Director Desk. They will explain the rules and give you the tennis ball –
DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO THE COURT.
Please make sure you put a proper phone number
that receives text messages of the person (should it not be the player’s cell
phone) who will be accompanying you. If you put a phone number of a parent who
is not with you at the tournament, you will not be able to receive tournament
information.
Make sure you:
1) CHECK IN thru the match tennis app. When a
court is available, you’ll be notified via text and then
2) Please go directly to the Site Director
Desk. They will explain the rules and give you the tennis balls – DO NOT GO
DIRECTLY TO THE COURT.
3) Upon completion of your match, FOLLOW THE
LINK that was originally sent to you when a court was available and INPUT YOUR
SCORES through that link into the Match Tennis App.

Important Information:
With draws for this prestigious tournament
being reduced from 64 players to 32 for this year, there are alternate options
below for those players who might not be selected for the Bobby Curtis
Championships.
We highly recommend registering for the
Bobby Curtis Section Championships AND the Level 5 tournaments below giving you
the best opportunity to play in a USTA Florida high level tournament.

Florida Residency Requirement
Players and their parents are required to be permanent residents of Florida in order to be eligible for this level tournament. Paperwork (as per the link) proving the parents and player are permanent residents must be RECEIVED in the USTA Florida office and APPROVED by Tuesday July 21st. Paperwork received after this date WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS TOURNAMENT. Players wishing to check their approval can check the Tentative Ranking list published approximately 16 days before the start of the tournament or contact the USTA Florida office: brewer@ustaflorida.com

Eligibility Information
Players who participate in the October 10th Boys and Girls 12's and 14's Bobby Curtis Championships WILL NOT be eligible to play in the Bobby Curtis Section Championships Boys and Girls 16's and 18's the following week on October 17th.

Tournament Format (subject to change if there are weather issues)
Draw Size: 32 players per division with a FIC through the round of 16, 5th and 6th place match will be played. 7th and 8th place match will not be played. Quarter-final losers will be fed into a separate consolation draw to play for 5th and 6th place. Semi-final losers will play for 3rd and 4th Playoff. - Singles Main Draw & 3rd / 4th playoff): Two tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak at 1-set all. AD Scoring - Singles Consolation and Quarterfinal Playoff Draws: Two tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak at 1-set all. NO-AD Scoring

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, September 30, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
