****SPECTATOR POLICY****

The spectator policy for this weekend will be 1 spectator allowed per player. This has been approved by the USTA STL District Office. Chairs will be lined up on both ends of the facility (next to cts 1 and 6) to allow for viewing. Also, chairs will be spaced in the lobby for limited viewing. Thank you for adhering to this policy.

BG 14 SINGLES

This is a 2-day event. BG 14 singles will be held Friday-Saturday, Nov 13-14.

BG 16-18 SINGLES

This is a 2-day event. BG 16-18 singles will be held Saturday-Sunday, November 14-15.

SCORING FOR G14 CONSOLATION

Scoring for G14 Consolation will be 8-game pro sets, regular scoring, with the chance of playing 3 rounds on Saturday.

SCORING

Scoring for the tournament will be regular, 2 out of 3 sets, with 10 pt tie breakers in lieu of a 3rd set. This format will be the same for all rounds of the tournament, except G14 Consolation.

Just as a reminder to everyone looking for opportunities to compete, this tournament is only open to BG 14-18 from the MISSOURI VALLEY SECTION. This all changes starting 1/1/21. We look forward to seeing new players in the future.

All matches will be played indoors at St Clair Tennis, regardless of weather conditions.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Eligibility: This event will be open to all junior members of the USTA Missouri Valley. A player must be 11 years of age or complete the USTA 10 and Under Youth Progression program.
Draw Size: The singles draw is limited to 16 players/division. Doubles, when played, is limited to 8 teams/division.
Draw Type: Singles - Depending on the number of players - round robin, feed in consolation through the semi-finals or feed in consolation through the quarterfinals. Participants will play no more than four rounds of singles over the 2-day tournament. Doubles - single elimination.
Tournament Selection: After the entry deadline has passed, the tournament director will select the top 16 players based on the most recent version of the USTA Missouri Valley Standings List.
Seeding: Seeding for this event will be based on the USTA Missouri Valley Standings List used to accept players into the draw.
Scoring Format: Singles - Regular/ad scoring, best 2 of 3 sets, with a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set. Doubles - 8 game pro-set with a 7 point tiebreak at 8-all.
Schedule: This is a 2-day tournament. If you cannot play throughout the tournament, please do not register as failure to play to completion for reasons other than illness, injury or personal circumstance will be penalized. The tournament committee will determine what constitutes a personal circumstance.
Withdrawals before entries close: Should be done through the online registration process. Your credit card will not be charged if you withdraw before the entry deadline.
Withdrawals after the entry deadline: Require a written explanation of the reason for withdrawing, and may require written verification from a medical professional. Failure to provide documentation will result in Suspension Points.
Refunds: No refunds will be given for withdrawals after the entry deadline.
Alternates: Players who registered for the tournament but were not accepted will be place on the alternate list (in order, based on the MV standings list).

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
