ATTENTION: All players intending on applying to play for Team USA for the Senior International World Championships. The United States Olympic Committee and the USTA are requiring all athletes representing the United States at international competitions to comply with the Safe Play program. The Safe Play program is the United States Olympic Committee’s initiative to recognize, reduce and respond to misconduct in sport. IMPORTANT Parking Information Players are invited to park in the lot next to the Stadium on 69th Avenue. Please be sure NOT to park on the private streets surrounding the Club. Cars parked on the private streets will be booted. PLEASE READ THE SIGNS CAREFULLY!!

ALL WHITE DRESS CODE ON COURT The West Side Tennis Club has an all white dress code for anyone on the courts. This includes hats, warm-ups and accessories. Shoes may have up to 50% color.
Please also be aware that GRASS COURT SHOES ARE NOT PERMITTED. This includes the Adidas Feather and any shoe with nubs or protrusions on the sole. Thank you for observing this club rule which protects the courts from excess wear and tear and thank you for your understanding.

Scheduling Requests Email any scheduling requests to the tournament director BEFORE THE ENTRY DEADLINE. Every effort will be made to accommodate scheduling needs as long as requests are received before the entry deadline. NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE AFTER THIS TIME UNLESS NECESSITATED BY WEATHER OR COURT CONDITION

Match Format: All matches will use the Coman tiebreak. All main draw matches will be best of 3 tiebreak sets. All consolation matches will play a 10 point tiebreak in lieu of a third set.

Practice Courts Friday, July 5 - Practice courts available from 12pm-8:30pm Saturday, July 6 - Practice courts available from 10am-8:30pm Sunday, July 7 - Practice courts available from 10am-3pm & 5-8:30pm Wednesday & Thursday, July 10 & 11 - Practice courts available for 30s & 40s starting at 6pm
Practice courts may be reserved 24 hrs. in advance by calling the Pro Shop at 718-268-2300 x127. All white dress code applies.

Consolation Information: All consolation will be played on grass unless weather conditions necessitate moving some consolation matches to clay.

Age Division Information: All players may only play in up to 1 singles event and 1 doubles event in their own age division. Playing in multiple age divisions will not be permitted.
|
Starting Dates: 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s: both singles and doubles will start Monday, July 8. 30s, 40s: both singles and doubles will start Thursday, July 11.

Pro Am: The Pro-Am will be held Sunday, July 7 from 3-5pm, with cocktails to follow. Entry is free and limited to 16 players. Please email the tournament director if you would like to participate.

Selection Process: All players that register for the tournament will be selected for the draw.
|

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Saturday, June 20, 2020 1:00:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
