ITA WY District Cup Level 5 JR Summer Championships

Draws are posted. Friday and Saturday times are locked in. I will do my best to help those of you with time crunches sunday when we get there and have identified opponents and potential open times. 4 players in every draw but girls 16's were seeded based on UTR. The 3 and 4 seed no longer show as seed but are in the correct spots in the draw.


Matches start Friday at 8 .M. A 5 minute warm up will be given and Central and East High School both have open courts to warm up on. Both of those schools are 10 minutes or less from our tournament site at Holliday Park which is located on Morrie and Lincolnway. Please use 1335 East 16th Street as your GPS address for the match site. I will be sending out our Covid precautions but please keep in mind athletes are playing at their own risk. I've had 9 withdrawls in 24 hrs so I am holding on posting draws and seeding the event. To help those of you with plans I will post your draws times. Keep in mind that you round time is the same every day so if you play early Friday you will play early Sunday at the same time. I may have some ability to move matches a bit on Sunday with withdrawls and maybe some off site courts.

Hi Everyone. Selections have been made off of the July 2nd Standings. I wish I could have selected everyone but please know I took as many as I could to maintain the format and integrity of the event. If you were not selected you will be added to the alternate list in the order of you ranking. At this point there are No Refunds for withdrawls. Please do not ask me for a special time request. Each age group will go on at the same time each day meaning if you play late Friday you will Play Late Sunday. Only 1 of 16 possible wild cards was given by USTA Wyoming for the entire event.


There are 4 spots left in girls 16's. Any girls 14's wishing to play an addition event can email me and will add you in the order I receive your request.



Each Player will receive 3 matches. The format will be best of 3 sets with a 10 point super tie-breaker for the third set


All matches will be held at Holiday Park. Match play will start at 8 A.M. on the 10th.


Seeding will be UTR based and draws will be posted by Monday July 6th at 11:59 P.M.

Hey Everyone! Couple of quick things. There is a 1 event limit on this tournament. If you’ve signed up for two singles Age groups I will message you and ask you to pick which one you want to play. The reason for this is to allow for as many kids to play as possible during this time when play is limited. I select as soon as possible after draws close. Once draw close if there is an additional spot open in another draw it will be first come first serve to play up. Hello I hope this finds everyone well. I held out as long as I could for more courts but unfortunately we will be confined to ONLY 4 courts this year. Our 3 local high schools will remained closed for tournament play. This will cause the following changes to happen.
Each draw will only except 8 players. Two local wild cards if available and the 6 players selected off most recent ITA standings. 7-8 players will be selected if no wild card from the district apply.


Doubles events have been removed. If you are signed up for a doubles event you will not be selected for doubles. I will be calling all players signed up as I’m unable to remove the events if players have signed up.


The Green Ball 10’s event has been removed. Players will be contacted about playing the 12’s event. DO NOT sign up for 10’s as the event will not happen.


I will guarantee at least two matches. My goal is a full compass 8 with every player receiving 3 matches.


I have reduced the entry fee $30 to reflect the loss of a doubles event.
