Perrysburg Tennis Center's Level 4 Jr Summer Classic

REMINDER: MASKS ARE NOW MANDATORY FOR THE TOURNAMENT FOR EVERYONE NOT PLAYING TENNIS IF INSIDE. GOVERNOR DEWINE HAS MANDATED THIS FOR WOOD COUNTY!!! THIS MEANS EVERYONE WHO IS NOT ON THE COURTS PLAYING.

ALSO: Only 1 person is allowed to be in clubhouse with each participant during match. Only players should check in at the tournament desk upstairs. Parents should stay in cars until match begins.

DRAWS ARE NOW POSTED. Please check your match times carefully. REMEMBER please follow all social distancing guidelines so that we can have a successful and safe tournament! I know we can do this. Please check back regularly for any updates. No Chairs or Tables upstairs. Please bring your own chair or plan on sitting on the floor.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION ON ROUTE 25 FRIDAY/SATURDAY. Northbound lane of route 25 (in front of our club) is being closed down for road work just in time for our tournament. The southbound lane will be open. Please plan accordingly by leaving early to get here. Players coming from south of Perrysburg should not get off of the highway until they reach Perrysburg. Do not get off on exit 582.

Please wait in your car until 15 minutes before your scheduled match time.

Format: All singles and doubles divisions play 2 full sets with a 10 point tiebreaker for the 3rd set. Doubles matches will utilize No-Ad scoring. Players will play at least 2 matches in both singles and doubles.

We will be starting matches at 1pm on Friday. Please plan accordingly. Due to players playing both singles and doubles ALL participants need to be available to play all 3 days just in case. Please do not sign up if you are unable to play at all on Friday and/or Sunday.

Extra Precautions: Players should not sign up to play if they have had any signs of illness. Please self monitor for fever or other Covid-19 symptoms. Players and parents are asked to bring their own chairs for upstairs. Please only have 1 adult watching indoor matches so that we can socially distance ourselves in the Mezzanine and the clubhouse. Players should not arrive any earlier then 15 minutes before their match and as soon as a match is completed parents and players are encouraged to leave until the next match.

Doubles matches could be both indoors and outdoors please plan accordingly. Singles will be inside.

Currently our vending machines, water fountains and ice machines are closed. Please make sure you bring plenty of snacks, water, etc. We will sell extra bottles of water at the front desk and have bags of ice for injuries.. Please email Julie with any questions.

All players will be selected as long as there are at least 3 players in each divisions. Some divisions might be combined.

All players will get a tournament t-shirt before their 1st match.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 6, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
