Notes
This tournament has been canceled.
Singles: Fri-Sun, July 10-12; Doubles: Fri-Sun, July 17-19; Mixed
Doubles: Sat-Sun, July 18-19. Matches start as early as 9 am on
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (except adult matches on Fridays,
which begin as early as 6 pm).
BALLS: Each player/team brings a new can of balls to their match.
One can is opened and used, and the remaining unopened can is given
to the winner.
SCORING: Main draw: 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring; 10-point
match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. Consolation: 8-game pro set,
regular scoring.
SCHEDULE: Match times beyond the first match are suggested, but may
be changed as we go along. We try to keep the tournament running
ahead of schedule if possible, so be prepared to play somewhat
earlier than the listed start times for matches later in the draw.
Some potential consolation matches have not been scheduled yet
because they will only be played if someone with a first-round bye
loses their first match; these consolation matches will be played
on an as-needed basis as the tournament progresses.
VENUE: Matches may be played either outside or indoors depending on
weather, player preference, or availability. We will do our best to
accommodate court requests, but nothing is guaranteed and
assignments are given at the tournament directors'
discretion.
Matches will be held at The Racket Club, 9101 South Illinois Route
31, Algonquin, IL 60102. Every participant receives a commemorative
t-shirt.
Reminder that the "NTRP 3.5" divisions are in place of the
traditional "Intermediate" divisions.
Draws will be posted on the Wednesday before each event.
