Boys events will be played on Hard court while Girls events will be
played on Clay. Consolation matches will be played on first
available.
Georgetown Prep Tournament
COVID-19 Policies and Procedures
Please read the following as we must adhere to strict capacity
limitations and social distancing measures to ensure the safety of
all players and families.
� Players should NOT arrive more than 15 minutes before their
scheduled start time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes before
your scheduled start time, you will be asked to go back outside the
club and wait in your car.
� Players are allowed only ONE parent/guardian to accompany them
during matches. No siblings or other spectators are allowed - NO
EXCEPTIONS! Additional spectators will be asked to leave - This
includes siblings with matches at different times. Siblings with
later match times are not permitted on premises until their own
scheduled match time!!!
� Masks are required at all times while on premises - with the only
exception of players on court.
� All vehicles must park in the paved lot up the hill behind the
courts. Upon parking, follow signs to walk to the left around the
courts and enter the club through the open fence gate behind the
clubhouse. There is no entrance through the front clubhouse
door.
� The clubhouse is only open for use of the restrooms. Please do
not linger inside the clubhouse after using the restroom, and
please do not enter the clubhouse to rest or seek shade.
� All water fountains have been removed from the facility and NO
beverages are available for purchase inside the clubhouse.
***Please ensure you bring enough to drink as it will be very
warm.
� No chairs are available for spectators. If you would like to sit,
please bring your own chair and maintain 6 feet of distance from
those around you.
� Players should check in ready to play. Please warm up and use the
restroom before checking in.
� When your match is over, please report to the tournament desk to
verify scores and get your next match time and exit the club
promptly.
Please DO NOT remain on premises to socialize or watch other
matches when your match has finished.
BG 16 &18 Singles divisions will be limited to draws of
32.
Refund Policy: There are NO refunds, for any reason, once the draw
has been made. If players choose not to participate do to personal
circumstance there is no refund or credit as they have still taken
a spot on the draw. If the event doesn't happen because of weather
or other "out of anyone's control" event, there will be a credit,
of the amount of the entry fee, that can be used towards another
tournaments at Georgetown Prep Tennis Club. This credit lasts for
up to 1 year from missed event.

MAS Regulations and Ranking Points This tournament operates in accordance with the rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at Court. By registering for this event, players and parents are agreeing to be familiar with and abide by all aspects of the MAS Regulations to include meeting sportsmanship expectations, all aspects of fair play, and respecting the game of tennis.

MAS EVENT REFUNDS Member organizations are not required to refund players for tournaments affected by inclement weather. Per MAS regulations, in the event of inclement weather a tournament may utilize a shortened format in order to play the tournament to completion. If the tournament cannot be played, it is the MAS recommendation that players be offered a credit to a future tournament hosted by the same organization. However, this is only a recommendation and not a policy. Each member organizations shall post their refund policy on the tournament homepage.

Due to ongoing challenges associated with Covid 19 every tournament is being reviewed to verify that all recommended safety protocols can be met. There may be situations where a previously posted event may need to modify draw sizes, formats, or divisions to ensure safety for all participants. In the event of a change notification of such changes shall be posted on the registration page for the event impacted and all registrants will be notified by email. Please verify that you are providing up to date contact information when registering so that you receive all updates.
**A player who has been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 in the time between player selection and the first scheduled match, may request a refund or credit up to 50% of the entry fee not including Tennislink Fee. The request must be in writing, at least 12 hours in advance of the first scheduled match and must include specific reference to a confirmed exposure or diagnosis.
