Main Draw: Singles – Regular/ad scoring, best 2 of 3 sets, with a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set. Consolation Singles- Regular/ad scoring. Best of 2/3 short sets, first to 4 games by 2, tiebreak at 4-4. 7 point tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set.

Safe Play Modifications
PLAYERS -Arrive on site no more than 10 minutes before your match, and depart promptly after reporting your match score. -Bring a mask to wear when entering and leaving the facility, and to use when you are not on the court. -Make every effort to maintain a safe social distance from players, officials, spectators and tournament staff, to minimize the risk of exposure. -Bring your own chair, and prior to your match, set up your belongings in one of the two designated changeover areas on the court. -Bring index cards and a pencil to track the score during the match. Call the score clearly before each point. (Score keepers will not be available.) -Do not directly touch other player’s balls, and use your foot and racquet to assist in returning balls to other players. -When changing ends, use opposite ends of the net to maintain physical distance. -Offer a nod, air shake, bow, or thumbs up instead of shaking players’ hands.
SPECTATORS: Bring your own chair and observe social distancing at all times. Bring a mask to wear when entering and leaving the facility, and if sitting closer than 6 feet from other spectators.? A limit of one spectator per player is in place to allow adequate social distancing and minimize the risk of exposure.
REQUIRED OF ALL: Do NOT attend unless you are feeling 100% well and you have had no exposure to anyone sick in the past 14 days.

If you are concerned about sharing balls with your opponent, you may purchase another can at the tournament desk for $3.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Eligibility: This event will be open to all junior members
of the USTA Missouri Valley. A player must be 11 years of age or
complete the USTA 10 and Under Youth Progression program.
Draw Size: The singles draw is limited to 16
players/division. Doubles, when played, is limited to 8
teams/division.
Draw Type: Singles - Depending on the number of players -
round robin, feed in consolation through the quarterfinals.
Participants will play no more than four rounds of singles over the
2-day tournament. Doubles - single elimination.
Tournament Selection: After the entry deadline has passed,
the tournament director will select the top 16 players based on the
most recent version of the USTA Missouri Valley Standings
List.
Seeding: Seeding for this event will be based on the USTA
Missouri Valley Standings List used to accept players into the
draw.
Main Draw: Singles - Regular/ad scoring, best 2 of 3 sets,

Consolation Singles- Regular/ad scoring. Best of 2/3 short
sets, first to 4 games by 2, tiebreak at 4-4. 7 point tiebreak in

Schedule: This is a 2-day tournament. If you cannot play
throughout the tournament, please do not register as failure to
play to completion for reasons other than illness, injury or
personal circumstance will be penalized. The tournament committee
will determine what constitutes a personal circumstance.
Withdrawals before entries close: Should be done through the
online registration process. Your credit card will not be charged
if you withdraw before the entry deadline.
Withdrawals after the entry deadline: Require a written
explanation of the reason for withdrawing, and may require written
verification from a medical professional. Failure to provide
documentation will result in Suspension Points.
Refunds: No refunds will be given for withdrawals after the
entry deadline.
Alternates: Players who registered for the tournament but
were not accepted will be place on the alternate list (in order,
based on the MV standings list).
