IMPORTANT:
On Saturday February 15 from 1:30pm-2:30pm Simon Norman who is the Kansas District representative on The Missouri Valley Junior Competition Committee will be at the tournament to answer any questions concerning the new Junior Competitive Pathway for 2020. This is an opportunity for parents and players to better understand the considerable changes that were implemented in the tournament system in both the Missouri Valley and the Kansas District beginning 1/1/2020.

Notes
Boys and Girls 12s and 16s on Saturday Feb 15th. Boys and Girls
14s and 18s on Sunday Feb 16th. Players may only enter one age
division in singles. No doubles are offered.

DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO REGISTER as many entrants do.
The sooner you enter, the sooner others enter and the bigger the
draws. Online registration is required and needs to be COMPLETED
before the entry deadline. In the case of a technical problem,
please contact the tournament director.
Point Level: This event is worth Missouri Valley Level 6 points. It
is an intermediate tournament for players interested in a climate
of increased competition with the potential to earn points towards
a ranking.
Draw Size: There is a draw limit of 16 per event for this
tournament.
Seeding: Seeding for this tournament will be based off the most
recent Missouri Valley Standings list.
Start Time: The start time of the tournament will depend on the
draw sizes of each division.
Match Format: *Singles: Best of 3 sets with 10 point
tiebreak in lieu of the third for Main Draw matches. Consolation
will be 8 game pro sets.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a 4 match maximum for each player.
Therefore the Consolation final WILL NOT be played in some
divisions. Please know that with large draw sizes there could be a
delay in match times, so your patience will be appreciated.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, February 10, 2020 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
