The entry fee is the same for singles and doubles. So there is no additional charge for playing doubles. We will pair you up with a doubles partner if you would like to play.

Racquet Stringing
We provide racquet stringing at the tournament.
Labor costs $20.00
Cost of string $10.00 per racket

Tournaments are organized by the Cello International Tennis Academy (CITA)

TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN
The tournament desk in is located in the SCC Faculty Lounge (building 1400). Players should check at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time. Penalties for lateness will be assessed if you are not checked in by the time you are scheduled to play regardless if a court is available for play.
TOURNAMENT FORMATS: Singles and Doubles
Open Singles Main Draw --- 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 pt. match tie breaker in lieu of the 3rd set
Open Singles FMLC (First Match Loser Consolation) 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 pt. match tie breaker in lieu of the 3rd set
Challenger Singles Main Draw --- 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 pt. match tie breaker in lieu of the 3rd set
Challenger Singles FMLC (First Match Loser Consolation) 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 pt. match tie breaker in lieu of the 3rd set
All doubles matches will be 8 game pro sets win by 2

3/4 PLAYOFF AND FMLC (FIRST MATCH LOSER CONSOLATION)
There will be a 3/4 playoff match for the semi-final losers in the main draw of the Open Singles event. There is also a FMCL (first match loser consolation) tournament in the Open and Challenger singles event. Please be sure to always check back with the desk after your match win or lose to determine what your next match time may be.
WITHDRAWALS:
Players needing to withdraw should contact Phil Cello, Tournament Director at cellotennis@comcast.net or by phone 707-853-0915. If you do need to withdraw please contact us as soon as possible so that we can notify your opponent.
COURT-SIDEVIEWING AND SEATING:
Each court has a viewing area directly centered directly behind the court to allow for good viewing of the match. We suggest that you bring a portable chair/s as there is no permanent seating in those viewing areas.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, January 5, 2020 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
