District Quota spots or alternate positions cannot be awarded to a player, other than a wildcard, who has not won a match at the District Qualifier. The Central Indiana District has been allocated 13 "Quota" spots for automatic selection to the 2020 Midwest Outdoor Closed tournament this year. The Endorsement process has been updated to select players from the Central Indiana District Championships - District Qualifier event in the BG 12-18 age divisions. The following players shall be awarded the “Quota” spots: 1) The 4 main draw semifinalists; 2) The 4 FIC Semifinalists; 3) The 5 highest ranked players who won at least one match at the District Qualifier, based on the Midwest points list generated immediately after completion of the District Qualifier, unless any of these spots has been taken by a Wildcard position.

TOURNAMENT WILL BE A 64 DRAW SINGLES FOR EACH DIVISION AND INCLUDE A FEED-IN CONSOLATION. Competitors will be selected based on the most recent Midwest Standing list as of the date registration closes. Seeding will be based on UTR.

The G18 will be held at UIndy Tennis Center, 2727 National Ave.
Practice courts will be available from 7-8 a.m. free of charge on all courts. 1 court will be available for later first round match until noon as well. It will be first come, first serve and MUST be shared between players. There are NO RESERVATIONS taken for practice courts.

Limited court time is available for practice courts due to IRC regular members courts.
8 courts have been made available in 1/2 hour blocks for FREE practice.


Saturday 8 courts-
7:00 to 7:30 am up to 32 players .(up to 4 players per court.) and
7:30 to 8:00 for up to 32 players .(up to 4 players per court.)
(Players who have match times of 8:00 am, 9:00 am, and 9:15.should use free practice time 7:00 to 7:30 am up to 32 players.


Sunday Free court time.(8 courts)

9:30 to 9:55 am for up to 24 players .(up to 4 players per court.)

*** In each age group, if an earned quota position is not accepted by a player and the Wild Card was not granted prior to the tournament, the Wild card will be granted to the next highest eligible tournament participant on the first Midwest ranking list that includes tournament results.

**IRC Indoor Tournaments with a Friday start may begin as early as 5:30 pm.
********IRC Indoor Tournaments with a Saturday start may begin as early as 8:00am on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
IRC indoor sites (Dean and East) will open at 7:00am for warm up courts on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Main playing site for all tournament play is the Indianapolis Racquet Club - Dean Rd.location. at 8249 Dean Road; Indianapolis Indiana 46240 on Indy's northeast side on 86th St(becomes 82nd street just west of Allisonville Road) inside the circular I-465 between the exits for Allisonville Road and Keystone Ave. Other possible practice/playing site courts at the Indianapolis Racquet Club East at 4901 N. Shadeland Ave Indianapolis IN 46226; 10-20 minutes (depending on traffic) from the Main site at the Dean Road Club.
