TOURNAMENT UPDATE
There will be warm up courts available at cooper tomorrow from
11-12pm... We have courts 4, 5, & 6. They are first come first
serve. See you all in the morning. Stay warm and
safe!
Also, with the new level 5 events we have to have at least 3
players in a draw for it to take place.
Late Entries will not be accepted. Do not wait until the last
minute to enter this event. If you have technical difficulties
entering, please contact the district Junior Competition
Coordinator before the deadline has passed (Courtney Nesbitt,
courtneytime2grow@outlook.com).
Skill Level: High-Level Intermediate
Eligibility: This event is CLOSED to Missouri District
Players. A player must be 11 years of age or complete the USTA 10
and Under Youth Progression program.
Draw Type: Feed in consolation through the quarterfinals.
Single elimination in doubles.
Tournament Selection: After the entry deadline has passed,
the tournament director will select players based on the most
recent version of the USTA Missouri Valley Standings List.
Seeding: Seeding for this event will be based on the USTA
Missouri Valley Standings List used to accept players into the
draw.
Scoring Format: Regular/ad scoring, best 2 of 3 sets, with a
10 point match tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set. Doubles is 8 game
pro-set
Schedule: This is a Saturday-Sunday tournament.
Withdrawals before entries close: Should be done through the
online registration process. Your credit card will not be charged
if you withdraw before the entry deadline.
Withdrawals after the entry deadline: Require a written
explanation of the reason for withdrawing, and may require written
verification from a medical professional. Failure to provide
documentation will result in Suspension Points.
Refunds: No refunds will be given for withdrawals after the
entry deadline.
Alternates: Players who registered for the tournament but
were not accepted will be place on the alternate list (in order,
based on the MV standings list).
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, January 7, 2020 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
