IMPORTANT -SCORING FORMAT
Main Draw matches (including 3rd/4th place matches) will be best of 3 sets with a match-tie-breaker in lieu of the 3rd set. Back draw matches will be best of 3 short sets (first to 4 games with tiebreaker at 4-4) and a 7 point tiebreaker in lieu of the 3rd set.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!
Due to the COVID-19, all 17 USTA sections have worked to create a fair playing field moving forward as a unified body in 2021. The USTA Missouri Valley has agreed to terms with other sections to establish certain time periods that level 3-7 tournaments can count towards the 2021 national standings list. In order to comply with this agreement, the USTA Missouri Valley section will award this event the following points: 2021 USTA National Standings: Level 6 Points 2020 USTA Missouri Valley Standings: Level 5 Points In 2020, a participant of this tournament will receive level 5 points towards their SECTION ranking. For the 2021 standings, a participant will receive level 6 points towards their NATIONAL ranking.

NOTE: Doubles will not be played at this tournament
In accordance with Missouri Valley junior tournament policy due to COVID-19 there will NOT be doubles at this tournament.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Players should bring with them: A folding chair (for changeovers) and umbrella (shade) Water and ice (with backup water/personal coolers to refill) Personal towels Spectator chair(s) and umbrella(s) USTA Kansas requests that only 2 spectators per player attend the event Index cards and a pencil to track the score during the match (Score towers will not be available)
SAFE PLAY MODIFICATIONS: Arrive on the site 10-15 minutes before scheduled match time and depart promptly after reporting your match score. Make every effort to maintain a safe social distance from players, officials, spectators and tournament staff to minimize the risk of exposure. Wash your hands before heading to the site. Sanitize your hands before and after your match. Offer a nod, air shake, bow or thumbs up instead of shaking opponents' hand. Where safe gates will be left open to minimize contact with common surfaces upon entering/exiting the court

Seeding for this tournament, as per MVTA regulations, was done from the last MVTA Standing List which was published on 3/12/2020.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, June 21, 2020 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
