Notes
Torneos CERRADOS: Nivel 3- podran participar unicamente los
jugadores que cumplan con los requisitos establecidos en la Regla
de Elegibilidad de Jugadores incluida en las Reglas Juveniles 2020.

Nivel 4 - mantendran identica Regla de Elegibilidad; sin embargo un
jugador que haya estado en Puerto Rico o Islas Virgenes por un
periodo minimo de seis meses con anterioridad a la fecha del
torneo, con VISA de trabajo de sus padres u alguna otra
circunstancia excepcional, podr� solicitar al Comit� de Competencia
Juvenil admisi�n a dicho torneo. El Comit� de Competencia Juvenil,
evaluara y determinara si concede la participacion
solicitada.
Ningun jugador de 10 a�os o menos podra participar en torneos
juveniles en la categoria de 12 a�os bola amarilla o en otra
categoria mas alta. - Ver reglas torneos Desarrollo Juvenil
2018.
De un jugador estar interesado en que se le haga una concesion o
arreglo especial en el horario o fechas de juego, debe someter una
peticion por escrito a la Asociacion de Tenis de Puerto Rico antes
de la fecha de cierre de inscripciones del torneo. Las unicas
razones validas para conceder la peticion son: examen para entrar a
universidades, escuelas y colegios, programas de estudio, bautizos,
comuniones y graduaciones de familiares inmediatos (hermanos)
hospitalizacion, muerte u otras situaciones extraordinarias de
familiares inmediatos, padre, madre, hermanos y/o abuelos. Las
peticiones de horarios para el segundo fin de semana deberan ser
recibidas el lunes despues del primer fin de semana antes de las
3:00pm. Los jugadores deben tener en cuenta que ninguna concesi�n
esta garantizada.
Level 3 - Junior Sectionals organized by the Junior Competition
Committee are CLOSED. In CLOSED tournaments, only players who meet
the requirements established in the Player Eligibility Rules
included in the 2018 Junior Rules will be able to participate. Pls

Level 4 - These tournaments will maintain the same Eligibility
Rules; however, a player who has been in Puerto Rico for a minimum
of six months prior to the tournament date, with parents who have a
work permit or with any other exceptional circumstance, may make a
request before the Junior Competition Committee to be allowed
admission to said tournament. The Junior Competition Committee will
evaluate the request and determine if it will concede the request
for participation.
10 & under players will not be permitted to play in a higher
age group. Please refer to the junior regulations for the
exceptions to this rule
If a player is interested in requesting a concession or special
arrangement regarding game time and date, the player must submit a
written petition before the Puerto Rico Tennis Association before
the tournament's registration deadline. The only valid reasons to
grant such a petition are: university, college or school entrance
exams, study programs, baptisms, first Holy Communion and
graduation ceremonies of immediate family (siblings),
hospitalization, death or other extraordinary situations involving
the immediate family - father, mother, siblings and/or
grandparents. Scheduling petitions for the second weekend must be
received by the Monday after the first weekend, before 3:00pm.
Players should take notice that requests are not guaranteed.
Vestimenta:
Todo jugador vestira y se presentara para jugar en ropa de tenis
apropiada, segun determinado por las reglas de competencia
juvenil.
No se permitiran en cancha con:
�Mangas cortadas
�"leggings"
�Pantalones cortos de volleyball
�Pantalones de yoga
�"tops" de hacer ejercicios
�Trajes de ba�o
Dress Code:
All players shall dress and ;present themselves to play in
appropriate tennis attire as determined by the Junior competition
rules.
The following will not be allowed:
�cut sleeves
�"leggings"
�Volleyball shorts
�Yoga pants
�Exercise tops
�Bathing suits
Player Selection TypeNo Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, January 23, 2020 11:59:00 PM Atlantic Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
