The event will use Overland Park Racquet Club outdoor hard courts, and Harmon Park. ... On the schedule, the facilities will appear as OPRC or HP. Harmon Park is at West 77th Place & Delmar, Prairie Village KS 66208. There is parking south and north of the courts. Enter the site from south end.

Tournament Directors will be implementing a number of measures to help provide a safe playing environment during the Covid-19 pandemic. Players and spectators must make every effort to follow this new protocol before, during and after their matches.

Heart of America Rules for Summer 2020
-A waiver will be signed before the start of play and temperature will be taken of player & spectator. -Players bring their own chairs for changeovers and umbrella for shade.Players will be asked to sit 6-feet from their opponent. Players to bring own personal towels, water and ice. -Spectators are asked to bring their own chair. Bleachers, benches and other public seating will be closed. -Only 1 spectator per player allowed. -Score tenders will not be available (both players should bring index cards and pencils/pens to track the score) -Players to arrive on site 10 minutes before scheduled match time and depart promptly after reporting your match score. -Make every effort to maintain a safe social distance from players, officials, spectator and tournament staff to minimize the risk of exposure. remove -Players and spectators must wear a mask into and out of the facility, whenever approaching the tournament desk and while in public areas such as restrooms. No mask. No match. -No indoor backup. Therefore, rain delays, shortened formats or cancellations could be possible

Points update for THIS L5 Tournament
Due to the COVID-19, all 17 USTA sections have worked to create a fair playing field moving
forward as a unified body in 2021. The USTA Missouri Valley has agreed to terms with other
sections to establish certain time periods that level 3-7 tournaments can count towards the 2021
national standings list. In order to comply with this agreement, the USTA Missouri Valley section
will award this event the following points:
2021 USTA National Standings: Level 6 Points
2020 USTA Missouri Valley Standings: Level 5 Points
In 2020, a participant of this tournament will receive level 5 points towards their SECTION
ranking. For the 2021 standings, a participant will receive level 6 points towards their
NATIONAL ranking.

High- Level Intermediate
Eligibility: This event will be open to all junior members in the USTA Missouri Valley. A player must be 11 years of age or completes the USTA 10 and Under Youth Progression program to participate.

After the entry deadline has passed, the tournament director will select players based on the most recent version of the USTA Missouri Valley Standings list. Singles closed to a draw of 24 players.
