After much discussion with the CARE Staff, Board of
Directors, and others involved with Paws at the Net, CARE has made the decision
to cancel this year’s Paws at the Net event. The health and safety of everyone
involved with the event and the community as a whole is our main priority and
we feel with the rise in COVID-19 cases, as well as new city mandates being
enacted, this was the correct choice in order to keep everyone safe. We hope
everyone stays safe and we look forward to an incredible Paws at the Net in
Thank you so much for supporting Central Arkansas Rescue
Effort for Animals.

Thank you for playing in Paws at the Net benefiting CARE for
Player Selection Type
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic affecting Arkansas as a whole, this
year's tournament will be focusing on our players and will not have
the amenities of years past. We will not have food trucks, booths,
a Saturday Showing of our adoptable pets, or a silent auction this
year. We ask that spectators please be limited. We also ask that
those in attendance please follow proper CDC guidelines on social
distancing, have a face covering if you are in the pro shop or
locker rooms, or at any time social distancing is not an option. We
want this tournament to be as safe as possible for all of those in
attendance. We will still provide players with water and sports
drinks in order to make sure they stay hydrated.
In the event that the State of Arkansas pulls back on its reopening
initiatives and the tournament is cancelled, players will not be
charged a registration fee. In fact, players will not be charged
their registration fees until registration closes. We hope that
this will be another great Paws at the Net!
Depending on the size of the tournament, we may not be able to
honor schedule requests, but we will try. Please submit schedule
requests to email@example.com.
*Please note that you may play singles and mixed but cannot play
multiple divisions within the same event. For example, you cannot
play 6.0 and 7.0 mixed.*
