Weather Update 7:15am
Slight delay to start of day, 8am matches may report at 8:30am. All matches near 9:30am on a 15 minute delay, all matches after 10:45am should report at their regularly scheduled time

After we assess the situation at the venues in person around 7/715 am, we will announce the official delayed start time for Saturday morning.... All draws were updated last night after play was suspended by lightning.

Late Entries will not be accepted. Do not wait until the last minute to enter into this event.
If you have technical difficulties entering please email the Tournament Director with a screen shot of the issue before the deadline has passed.
Skill Level:
High- Level Intermediate
Eligibility: This event will be open to all junior members in the USTA Missouri Valley. A player must be 11 years of age or completes the USTA 10 and Under Youth Progression program to participate.

No Concurrent Tournament Entries • Players should not be registered for two tournaments with overlapping dates, unless they have received prior permission from both tournament committees/Tournament Directors. If a player is found to be registered for two events with overlapping dates and/or if a player withdraws from one event to play in another after selection has been completed, the player will be penalized with suspension points.

Tournament Selection
After the entry deadline has passed, the tournament director will select players based on the most recent version of the USTA Missouri Valley Standings list. Singles closed to a draw of 24 players. WITHDRAWS & REFUNDS
Before the Entry Deadline: A withdrawal before entries close needs to be done through the online registration process. Click on the "Withdraw" link in the Edit Registration box to the left to complete this step. Your credit card will not be charged. Click on the "Locate Confirmation Number" link if you have misplaced the confirmation number.
After the Entry Deadline: Withdraws after entries close need to be emailed to the tournament director at the address above. Refunds are not given for withdraws that happen in the 6 days before the start of the event.

Tournament Directors will be implementing a number of measures to help provide a safe playing environment during the Covid-19 pandemic. Players and spectators must make every effort to follow this new protocol before, during and after their matches.

Heart of America Rules for Summer 2020 · A waiver will be signed before the start of play and temperature will be taken of player & spectator. · Players bring their own chairs for changeovers and umbrella for shade.Players will be asked to sit 6-feet from their opponent. Players to bring own personal towels, water and ice. · Spectators are asked to bring their own chair. Bleachers, benches and other public seating will be closed. · Only 1 spectator per player allowed. · Score tenders will not be available (both players should bring index cards and pencils/pens to track the score) · Players to arrive on site 10 minutes before scheduled match time and depart promptly after reporting your match score. · Make every effort to maintain a safe social distance from players, officials, spectator and tournament staff to minimize the risk of exposure.

·Players and spectators must wear a mask into and out of the facility, whenever approaching the tournament desk and while in public areas such as restrooms.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 2, 2020 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
