Welcome to the tournament
Welcome to the tournament. This is an L6 tournament and will feature up to a 16 draw for each age division in singles competition only. We are asking that players and parents arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their match start time and to leave the facility as soon as your match is over to lesson the traffic and congestion at our facility during the Covid 19 outbreak.
Information on Oklahoma City during Covid 19.
1. The Oklahoma City Tennis Center has taken steps to insure your safety at the event. We have hand sanitizing stations at the front door and tournament desk. Front desk employees and tournament directors will be wearing masks. Indoor high touch points will be wiped down on a hourly basis. We will not use score keepers to eliminate a touch point. For your safety we recommend players to bring a folding chair to sit during matches. We will have court benches open but not sanitized. We strongly recommend players and spectators to keep a 6ft social distance between each other while in the facility including our bleacher areas. We ask that you only arrive for your match 15 minutes early and leave the facility as soon as your match is complete to reduce the traffic at the tennis center.
2. Our Marriott host hotels have policies in place to insure your safety during your stay. Employees will be wearing masks. Touch points are to be wiped down. Maids will not come into your room for cleaning until after your stay. Extra needed items can be obtained when needed. Breakfast will be bagged which may include: fruit, water, yogurt, breakfast bar.
3. 95% of Oklahoma City restaurants are open and ready to serve you. Some may have limited seating to provide social distancing during your visit. All fast food chains are open, some have indoor dining while others may have only drive thru service. Finding eating establishments will not be an issue during the tournament. Postmates, Grubhub and Uber Eats all deliver to our host hotels.
We wish all of the players the best of luck in the tournament. If you have any questions please contact me by email, okctenniscenter@att.net
