8AM Matches- Please be prepared to go on court by 7:50. Players MUST check themselves in and be ready to go. I look forward to a great first day!
Friday @ 3PM: Draws are now posted. Please double check your match time as I've had to make some last minute changes regarding seeds with withdrawals. If you have any questions, please email me and I will respond asap.
Thursday @ 1:30PM: Please make sure you check this page regularly as I am still receiving withdrawals and your match time may have changed.
For those regarding practice courts, there will several courts available for warm up at 7AM. Once matches have begun at 8AM, there will only be one court used for warm up. We will reserve space for 4 PLAYERS per half hour, NO COACHES OR PARENTS as practice court availability is limited. To reserve a spot, please call the organization number listed above.

Important USTA 2021 Changes
The USTA will
be launching a new, simplified nationwide junior tournament competitive
structure in January, 2021. These changes will create a standardized system
that will drive greater consistency for our players, parents, coaches,
tournament directors and officials. These changes will help better address the
needs of all our constituents with the goals of driving growth in USTA Junior
Tournaments. Please click on the link to learn everything you need to know about these changes.
In 2021, this event will be a Closed Level 3.

PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order: 1 - 44 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament 2 - 20 Players based on UTR Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order: 1 - All seeds done by UTR If you have questions regarding player selection and/or seeding, please contact the USTA/Midwest Section office at jrtourney@midwest.usta.com

POINTS PER ROUND

MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Feed-in consolation draw (through the Round of 16). Quarter-final losers will be fed into a separate consolation draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place. Semi-final losers will playoff for 3rd and 4th place. Main draw and 3/4 Playoff is best of three tie-break sets. Feed-In matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 64 FIC-R16

PLAY SITE LOCATIONS & PRACTICE COURTS
SITE LOCATION: XS Tennis and Education Foundation - 5336 S State Chicago,IL 60609
PRACTICE COURT INFO: Practice courts will be available Friday evening, 7pm-10pm, as well as throughout the morning of each day of the tournament. Friday's courts will be $36/hour while Saturday and Sunday will be $5/half-hour per person with 4 players to a court if necessary. To reserve practice courts, please call the front desk at (773) 548-7529.

ON-SITE STRINGING
We will have an on-site stringer throughout the tournament. We have a limited selection of sting, various Wilson and Luxilon strings, so please bring your own string if possible.

ORDER OF PLAY
SATURDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 1 round of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 3 rounds of consolation singles. MONDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of consolation singles.

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.
