Welcome to the Tournament!
Welcome to the tournament. This is an L6 BG 16's-18's tournament and will feature up to a 16 draw for singles. We are asking players and parents to arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to their match start time and to leave the facility immediately after turning in your scores to lesson the traffic and congestion at our facility during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Viewing and Check in
1. Please do not arrive earlier that 10 minutes prior to your match. We are trying to keep the tournament congestion to a minimum.
2. ONLY 2 PARENTS + ONE COACH PER PLAYER WILL BE ALLOWED (no other friends or family members will be allowed) IN OUR VIEWING AREA! PLEASE RESPECT OUR POLICY TO PROTECT THE HEALTH OF EVERYONE.
3. Check in and viewing will be in our new pro shop (our building is not yet completed but we will be using the viewing area so parents and coaches may watch. Go to our old pro shop for instructions on how to get to our check-in/viewing area.
Scoring
Main Draw Singles - Best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point tiebreaker played for the 3rd set.
Back Draw Singles - Best 2 out of 3 SHORT sets with a 7 point tiebreak played for the 3rd set. In a set, if at 3 games all, competitors play 2 more games. If at 4 games all, a 7 point tiebreak is played.
Water/Ice
We will NOT have ice or Water for players for this event. For your safety and sanitary reasons during Covid-19 we will not have a shared ice and water station. PLEASE NOTE! AT THIS TIME OUR WATER FOUNTAINS ARE CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU BRING A LARGE WATER JUG OR ICE CHEST FILLED WITH ENOUGH WATER AND ICE TO LAST THROUGH YOUR MATCH.

1, This is an Indoor tournament.
2, The draws will be limited to the top 16 ranked players that enter each division.

4. Scoring:
Main Draw: Best of 2 out of 3 regular sets with a 10 point tiebreaker played for the 3rd set.
Consolation Draw: Best 2 out of 3 SHORT SETS with a 7 point tiebreak played for the 3rd set.

This Tournament may start as early as Friday at 6:30pm and will play through Sunday. Times and days will depend on the size of the draws and the number of participants.

TOURNAMENT SELECTION
Players may NOT register for both L6 and L7 tournaments that are taking place during the same sanction period. This is a violation of the Friend of Court Rules and will result in 5 suspension points. If you are not selected into the L6 (Monday at NOON), you may then register for the concurrent L7 (Deadline Tuesday at NOON).

NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED INTO
THIS TOURNAMENT.
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO REGISTER
Online registration is required and needs to be COMPLETED before
the entry deadline. In the case of a problem, contact the USTA
Oklahoma Administrator, David Minihan at minihan@ustaoklahoma
before the deadline.
WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS - Withdrawals before the Entry Deadline:
Needs to be done through the online registration process prior to
deadline. Click on the "Withdraw" link in the Edit Registration box
to the left to complete. Your credit card will not be charged.
Click on the "Locate Confirmation No" link if you have misplaced
the confirmation number. There will be no refunds after the
deadline.
LEVEL Intermediate
ELIGIBILITY This event will be open to all junior members in the
USTA Missouri Valley. A player must be 11 years of age or completes
the USTA 10 and Under Youth Progression program to
participate.
TOURNAMENT SELECTION After the entry deadline has passed, the
tournament director will select the top 16 players from the most
recent USTA Missouri Valley Standings list. Players not selected
may register for the concurrent L7 tournament (Note, some L6
tournaments might not have a concurrent L7. Please check the
searchable schedule). You will need to register directly for the L7
by Tuesday at NOON on the searchable schedule. Late entries cannot
be accepted.
MATCH FORMAT Ad scoring Singles Main draw: Best of 3 6-game sets
with Match Tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set Singles Consolation: Best of
3 short sets, with 7 pt Tiebreak in lieu of 3rd Doubles - 8-game
pro set SEEDING Seeding will be taken off the most recent Missouri
Valley standings list.

DOUBLES* In order to play doubles, player must register for doubles (Player is not eligible for doubles if they only signed up for singles) by the deadline, Monday at NOON. Players can only play doubles in the same age group they are playing singles in. Once the deadline and selections have been made, the Competitor list will be published. Players (who registered for doubles) can then email the TD who their doubles partner is. All other players without a partner would be placed in a blind draw. The deadline to email the TD is Tuesday at NOON. Players who did not get selected into singles will not be selected for doubles. However, if the player wishes to play doubles, he or she may email the TD by Tuesday at NOON. The entry fee will be $20 for doubles only.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, November 16, 2020 11:59:00 AM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
