Practice Courts
Players may reserve indoor practice time for half an hour on Saturday, January 4th and Sunday, January 5th from 8-8:30 AM or 8:30-9 AM through the Reis front desk (607-254-8922). The charge is $5 per player. When making a court reservation please mention that the reservation is for the USTA tournament, indicate the names of all players on the court and provide a cell phone contact number.
The practice times listed above are restricted to 30 minutes per player with up to four players to a court. If there are open courts players may continue to practice for an additional half hour.

Doubles Pairing Deadline
All doubles pairings will need to be confirmed by 1 PM on Tuesday, December 31st in order for teams to be included in the doubles draws. If doubles partners are not indicated in the applicant list the pairing will need to be confirmed by emailing abf11@cornell.edu. Once both players confirm the pairing it will be indicated in the competitor list.

TennisRecruiting.net National Showcase Series
This tournament has been designated as part of the TennisRecruiting.net National Showcase Series. Tournaments in the National Showcase Series are USTA sanctioned junior tournaments open to players from all sections. Eastern players who win matches earn regular L1 ranking points for this tournament. These tournaments are designed to give a broad range of players the chance to compete outside their districts and sections - and results from these tournaments are guaranteed to count toward TRN rankings. Players who compete in these tournaments and win at least one match will become national players on TRN.

Consolation Singles
A consolation singles round will be scheduled for players who lose their first singles match, as long as we have sufficient court space.

Player Check-In for Matches
Players are requested to check-in at the tournament desk at least 15 minutes prior to each scheduled match. They should be prepared to play at the time that they check in.

Scoring Formats
Main Draw Singles: Best of three tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set, regular scoring. There is a 2 minute on court break if players split sets and coaching is not allowed. Consolation Singles: 8-game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak at 8 games all, regular scoring. Doubles: 8-game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak at 8 games all, NO-AD scoring.

Code Of Conduct: By registering for this tournament you agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations set forth in the USTA Friend at Court, the USTA Standards of Conduct, as well as the USTA Eastern Section's Rules & Regulations. The rules apply to parents & spectators as well; the player is responsible for their entourage. Poor behavior by the spectators may result in point penalties for the players. Poor personal behavior, bad sportsmanship or any acts detrimental to the game could prevent section endorsement. Registration and Withdrawals Withdrawals can be done online before registration closes. Select "Withdraw" under the blue Edit Registration Menu on the lower left of this tournament homepage. Refunds will not be given after the close of registration.
