CALIFORNIA NEW STAY AT HOME ORDER
WE REGRET TO INFORM ALL THE PLAYERS STILL IN THE TOURNAMENT THAT DUE TO THE NEW STATE ORDER, THE SCTA HAS ASKED ALL THE REMAINING MATCHES TO BE POSTPONED UNTIL SOMETIME IN JANUARY. WE WILL NOTIFY ALL PLAYERS AS SOON AS THE ORDER IS LIFTED AND THE SCTA GIVES US THE GO AHEAD.

Virtual Tournament Desk Registration **MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS** by Dec 3 by 9pm
In response to the COVID-19, we will be using Match Tennis App’s Virtual Tournament Desk technology to help facilitate CDC best practices.

FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES TO ENSURE YOU'LL RECEIVE COURT ASSIGNMENTS VIA TEXT (Please Click Link To Read)
* When setting up your Match Tennis App account, all family members should sign in with the same username and password.
* Make sure you add three DIFFERENT contact numbers during the Pre Tournament Virtual Check-In THAT WILL BE ON during the tournament. They all should be cell numbers since messages will be in the form of texts. When you are called to court, all your contact phones will receive the message.
* If you need to add or change contact numbers go to “My Account” in Match Tennis App and click “Completed Waivers” to add or change contact numbers.

***SELECTION PROCESS & RULES***
1.Top 30 from standings list. If there are ties (players with no ranking), we will use random draw. Then we will take next two best UTR.
2. No Doubles.
3. One Spectator Per Player. No exceptions.
4. Player must use Match Tennis App and sign waiver through the App.

NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED
Due to safety concerns and new mandates for the State of California, no spectators will be allowed at Cabrillo Tennis Center. Parents must either wait in the car for their player to finish the match, or drop their player off and return when the match is finished. NO EXCEPTIONS. This is for the safety of the players, parents, and tournament staff. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Sites
We have two (2) sites for the tournament this weekend: Match Point Tennis Academy (800 Cabrillo Park Dr, Santa Ana, CA 92701) and Anaheim Tennis Center (975 S State College Blvd, Anaheim CA 92806).
Please double check your sites for Saturday!!!

SAFETY RULES and REGULATIONS FOR EACH SITE- RULES HAVE CHANGED
Please review the following safety information for each site this weekend:
Cabrillo Tennis Center: Spectators are not allowed at this facility for safety purposes. Spectators must wait in their cars, or drop their players off and return when their player's match finishes. Additionally, face coverings are required at all times off the court (not required on court).
Anaheim Tennis Center: ONLY ONE (1) spectator per player at this site. This rule is strictly enforced. Any and all additional spectators will be asked to leave. Face coverings are required here AT ALL TIMES, unless players are on court.

Scoring Format
The scoring format for this tournament will be 2/3 sets, with a 10-pt tiebreak in lieu of a third set. Regular scoring for all matches.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, December 1, 2020 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
