EMAIL SENT MONDAY DEC. 2 10:30 AM
Greetings, Thank you for participating in the UTR Championship at UOP. We wish the weather had been better, but we are thankful that we got rounds in on Saturday. All completed matches will count towards your players ranking and UTR rating. I wanted to make you aware of a special discount from Game Smart Tennis on match video and analysis from our event. Game Smart recorded all of the matches and is offering match video for $30.00 per match, condensed match video for $60.00 per match, and $100 for expert match analysis. These are significant savings from their usual prices. Please email Petar @ petar@gamesmarttenis.com to take advantage. We would also appreciate you filling out a tournament evaluation. We work hard to organize the tournaments, and put extra effort into making sure that we communicate effectively so the players have the opportunity to compete. Positive evaluations give us the opportunity to keep tournaments in our area. We were the only one of the 3 UTR events last weekend that got play in. Here is a link to the evaluation: https://www.ustanorcal.com/tournaments/Tournament_eval.asp?intloc=headermavsub2 Thanks again, and please let me know if you have any questions. We hope to see you at one of our events in 2020. Happy Holidays, Mike ErwinTournament Director

Players that enter will be flighted with other players with similar ability into round robins of four (4) by their Universal Tennis Ratings (UTR), regardless of age. UNIVERSAL TENNIS RATINGS: Every NorCal player that has competed in a USTA National or NorCal tournament that uses a yellow tennis ball in the past 12 months has a Universal Tennis Rating. This is the rating that is used to select players and group them into flights. The rating is based on a player’s most recent 30 singles match results so long as they took place in a 12-month period. Each player is assigned a level (from 1 to 16, with 16 as the highest) based on the level of their opponent and the match score. Levels are without regard to age or gender.

To submit a late entry, email the player’s name, USTA number, division of entry, email address and cell phone number to Mike Erwin - contact information is above.
