FRIENDLY SERVING COMPETITION!
To accommodate more players we have moved the serving competition to Saturday at 8 PM Friday
We will have a friendly serving competition at City Club! There will be prizes provided generously by Louisiana Palms and Landscape Co. for the most accurate serve and for the fastest serve. All tournament players are welcome to join in on the fun!

CHECK-IN:
Tournament Check-in will be available at 4:00 P.M. 2/14/20 at the Cityclub Proshop. Arrive at your site 1/2 hour before your first match time to check-in. If your first match is on Saturday you are not required to check in on Friday. Tournament towels will be given to players at the main site. (City Club)

DRESS CODE
Please wear appropriate tennis attire of any color on courts. Soft soled shoes required.

FACILITY RULES
No profanities, yelling or screaming at any time while on court. Be respectful at all times. Cell phones must be silenced. No food, glass containers, skateboards, or pets are allowed on court. Do not participate in any behavior that would risk injury to anyone else such as throwing your racket or any other object on or off the court. If you are around the tennis courts and are not playing, please keep noises to an appropriate level and respect others.

FORMAT OF PLAY:
All Singles draws (12-18) will play the best two out of three tie-break sets with a Match tie-break in lieu of the third set.
The required scoring format, for 10's orange singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set.
*Short scoring may be used in the Main Draw to catch up after weather delays.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
USTA requires a medical release SIGNED BY THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of the tournament registration. REFUNDS:
No refunds after registration is closed. If you withdraw before registration closes, your credit card will not be charged. If you withdraw after registration closes, there are No Refunds.

10 & Under YPP
10u Court, Racquet, and Balls Boys and Girls 10s Green Level 1 will play on the 78 foot court using Green Low Compression Balls. The racquet size is up to 29". Boys and Girls 10s Orange will play on the 60 foot court using Orange Low Compression balls. The racquet size is up to 25”. The required scoring format for 10s singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets - Ad Scoring (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set.

ALL TIMES POSTED ARE CENTRAL TIME: 1/1/20 – Entries Open 2/09/20 – 11:59pm (One minute before Midnight) Entries Close 2/12/20 – Competitors posted to website 2/12/20 – Last chance to contact Tournament Director with late entry into the tournament 2/13/20– Single seeds and draws posted to website 2/14/20, Friday at 5:00 – Doubles will begin 2/15/20, Saturday – Practice courts open at 7:00a.m. and play begins at 8:00a.m. 2/16/20, Sunday – Practice courts open at 7:00a.m. and play begins at 8:00a.m.

WITHDRAWALS:
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline: Go to the Tournament website and click "Withdraw" in the "EDIT REGISTRATION" box on the right side of your screen. From there you can withdraw. If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself. You will lose the entry fee if you do not withdraw online before registration closes. Withdrawal After Entry Deadline: Immediately contact the tournament director to withdraw from the tournament. You must fax or email your withdrawal. DO NOT call to withdraw. The email is ENTER EMAIL and the fax is ENTER NUMBER. If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. There are No refunds if withdrawing after registration closes. Defaulting during the tournament: You must see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee. Do not tell just anyone at the desk and think you have properly defaulted. Unless you speak to the Head Referee in person, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE! If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament OR a visit with the onsite trainer will suffice

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, February 10, 2020 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
