Schedule Change SITES FOR SUNDAY AND MONDAY:
Based on our weather forecast: will be scheduling three rounds today in all divisons. This means that the main draw, 3/4 playoff, and the Quarterfinal playoff will be completed today. We are taking this step now as a precaution to ensure tournament completion and to give parents time to save on the potential extra hotel expense; Thank you!

IMPORTANT USTA 2021 CHANGES
The USTA will be launching a new, simplified nationwide junior tournament competitive structure in January, 2021. These changes will create a standardized system that will drive greater consistency for our players, parents, coaches, tournament directors and officials. These changes will help better address the needs of all our constituents with the goals of driving growth in USTA Junior Tournaments. CHANGED MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE/NO DOUBLES
Due to current COVID rules in Michigan, no indoor courts will be utilized for play unless the state Governor revises her policy prior to the event. The format has been changed for this event: 64 Modified Feed In Consolation to the Round of 16 , Quarter Final players who do not win go into a separate draw. All matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 64 MFIC. NO DOUBLES

FORMAT CHANGES IF INCLEMENT WEATHER OCCURS
Every effort will be made to complete the entire tournament. If this is not possible, we will follow this procedure: *Scoring will be shortened to 2/3 Short Sets, with Ad, first to 4 games win by 1. At 3-3 a set tiebreaker will be played
Cancellation of draws: *Priority will be given to the Main Draw We will be moving backwards in the Consolation Draws in this order: *First Cancellation- Round of 64/32 *Second- Round of 16 *Third- Quarters *Last- 3/4 Playoff

All sites are finalized. Please see the Hotel information sections for properties closest to your playing location. Be aware that the girls' and boys' sites are a considerable distance from each other. Guidence for specific situations is available in the hotel section.
All sites are available for warmup before each day's play at 8:00. *Only the Gainey site is locked. It opens at 7:00 am on Saturday and Monday. Closed Sunday's.

USTA/MIDWEST SAFETY COVID PROCEDURE
The COVID-19 procedures and policies in place by the USTA/Midwest Section for this event are as follows: * First and foremost, if you are not feeling well, please withdraw from the event. If you are a spectator and not feeling well, please stay home. *Player +1 for the entire event. Only one person is going to be allowed with each player. * The water fountains will not be accessible for the duration of the event. Please bring plenty of water for matches. * Social distancing will be strongly encouraged in addition to wearing a face mask. * We encourage bringing your own chair to watch any matches outdoors. * Do not enter the facility until 10-15 minutes before your scheduled match time. * There will be no handshakes at the conclusion of matches. * Once match results have been turned in, we request you leave the facility immediately. Only players are to approach the tournament desk. Please keep a safe distance when doing so. * All tournament staff will be wearing masks.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, August 27, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
