** GRRF is a Play Sight Facility** All Matches Are Streamed And Recorded**
GRRF is excited to offer free Play-sight live match streaming! All matches are available for real time viewing by family friends free of charge. Be ready and download a free Play-sight account in advance, All tournament matches. Go to playsight.com to create an account for download. Each participant must have a legal guardian to accept and sign a broadcast wavier before play begins. Individual cameras will not be turned off. Failure to accept wavier will result in a match defaults under parental choice provision. Recorded matches will be available for purchase at a nominal fee of $15 per match or $40 for all matches.

Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North is the closest hotel to us. This is a very good property and a great partner. There are a few very good non-chain restaurants around it and they are only a few miles from the alpine shopping area. The Crowne Plaza Airport is a little further away but close to the airport. It is a great property we have worked with in the past. They offer a special tournament rate that will include breakfast. SITE LOCATIONS & PRACTICE COURTS
Grand Rapids Racquet & Fitness will host all matches. The address is 4940 Plainfield Ave. NE Grand Rapids Michigan 49525. (616-363-7769) Practice courts: (Fair practice policies are in effect to give every participant an equal ability to acquire warm-up court time. Friday Reservation Rates: $20 per court hour.
Saturday: Practice courts are now open for reservation. You may reserve one 1/2 court starting at 6:55 am to 7:55 am. The cost is $10 per half court. 4 player per court. Coaches are not permitted to reserve courts, each reservations must be in different players name. Club doors will open at 6:45 am. Please contact another player to practice with. No private coaches or parents hitting unless there is not an available player option on site. Adults will be removed to ensure all players having equal warm-up opportunity. * Our policy exists to make our tournament a positive and fair event for all participants.
Sunday: Practice courts will be released for reservation as Saturday play proceeds. The court rate is $10.00 per half court . Priority will be given to players based upon Sunday match times. * Note, competitors have priority. Coaches and parents may be still be removed for players if space is required.
Other Area Warm-up Courts: Beware: Not all athletic clubs in Grand Rapids support youth tennis. Some may charge you excessive guest fees for a warm-up. As such, we do not list all organizations here. If you want more court time than our facility can provide..... we suggest Premier Athletic Club. Their organization will waive guest fees and offer fair court pricing for visiting national junior tournament participants. They can be reached at 616-538-4600. Important USTA 2021 Changes
ChangesThe USTA will be launching a new, simplified nationwide junior tournament competitive structure in January, 2021. These changes will create a standardized system that will drive greater consistency for our players, parents, coaches, tournament directors and officials. These changes will help better address the needs of all our constituents with the goals of driving growth in USTA Junior Tournaments. PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order:1 - 22 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament 2 - 10 Players based on UTR Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order: All 8 seeds are done using UTR. MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Feed-in consolation draw (through the Quarterfinals). All matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 32 FICQ

ORDER OF PLAY
SATURDAY - 3 rounds of main draw and 2 round of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 3 rounds of consolation singles.

Balls and awards
Wilson US Open balls will be used. Awards will be given to: Singles- 1st to 4th main draw and two 5th places.

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.

USTA Junior Player Oath:

Medical Release Form
All players MUST turn in a medical waiver and video stream waiver prior to their first match signed by a parent of legal guardian in order to play in this event. Please print off and complete the USTA Medical Release Form prior to arrival.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, February 13, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
