USTA/Midwest COVID-19 Safety Procedures
The COVID-19 procedures and policies in place by the USTA/Midwest Section for this event are as follows: * First and foremost, if you are not feeling well, please withdraw from the event. If you are a spectator and not feeling well, please stay home. * Player +1 for the entire event. Only one person is going to be allowed with each player. * The water fountains will not be accessible for the duration of the event. Please bring plenty of water for matches. * Social distancing will be strongly encouraged in addition to mandatory wearing of a face mask. * We encourage bringing your own chair to watch any matches outdoors. * Do not enter the facility until 10-15 minutes before your scheduled match time. * There will be no handshakes at the conclusion of matches. * Once match results have been turned in, we request you leave the facility immediately. Only players are to approach the tournament desk. Please keep a safe distance when doing so. * All tournament staff will be wearing masks.

The Manager of this Hotel (whom we work with for every event) assures me that they are stringent with cleaning and disinfecting.

Important USTA 2021 Changes
The USTA will be launching a new, simplified nationwide junior tournament competitive structure in January, 2021. These changes will create a standardized system that will drive greater consistency for our players, parents, coaches, tournament directors and officials. These changes will help better address the needs of all our constituents with the goals of driving growth in USTA Junior Tournaments. PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order: 1 - 44 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament 2 - 20 Players based on UTR Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order: All 16 seeds are done using UTR. POINTS PER ROUND

MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Feed-in consolation draw (through the round of 16). All matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. The consolations stop at the final match. 64 FIC-R16

PLAY SITE LOCATIONS & PRACTICE COURTS
TOURNAMENT SITE All matches will be played at South Bend Racquet Club, 4122 Hickory Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545
WARM UP COURTS Courts will be open from 7-8 am each day for warm up on walk - on basis at no charge. Friday night courts are available for rental at $22/hr after 12pm. During the tournament, warm up courts can be rented at Lakeland Athletic Club at the usual hourly rate. Lakeland is 20 minutes north of SBRC. For Lakeland reservations, contact Melissa at Mbrown.lakeland@gmail.com. Notre Dame courts will NOT be available at this time.

ORDER OF PLAY
SUNDAY- Two rounds of main draw and one round of consolation singles. MONDAY - Two rounds of main draw and three rounds of consolation singles. TUESDAY - Two rounds main draws(including 3rd place playoff) and final rounds consolation singles (Consolation final will not be played).

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.
