Scarborough IS holding tournaments again!!
** However, due to Covid-19 we have instituted a minimal
touching and minimal observers policy. ** This means we
CANNOT offer the use of kitchen, ice machine, drinking fountain,
towels, showers, tables, chairs or the childrens' playroom for the
time being. We cannot offer player use PlaySight
video/analytics system, but we will record all matches on all
courts on PlaySight and email links to matches to players usta
email addresses subsequently.
We ask that a maximum of one person accompany
players who cannot drive to the tournament themselves. We ask any
player who can drive to come to the tournament unaccompanied if
possible. Any observer must stay in designated areas with minimal 6
ft between any other person in the building. We also recommend
every observer wear a face mask, and everyone use our hand
sanitizer upon entering and leaving the building.
We will NOT have chairs. If younger players are accompanied by 1
adult that adult must stand or bring his/her own chair.
We apologize for the inconvenience we realize these changes cause.

Tournament Format
Format is best of 3 sets, 10 point tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set.
There will be a limit of *16 players* per division participating.
FMLC so each player is guaranteed 2 matches. Trophies
awarded.
Start Times
Matches may begin as early as 3pm on Friday. We will attempt
to complete only ONE round on Friday so we can finish as many
events on Saturday as possible.
Tournament will continue on Saturday typically noon or
after.
Due to high participation numbers we WILL play some events on
Sunday as early as 9am. We will finish as many events through at
least the semi-finals as possible.
Check-in and Playsight Account
Check in at tournament desk. Those checked in first, go on court
first. We will start early if courts and players are
available!
If you do not have a PlaySight account, please make sure your
USTA membership contact information is CURRENT. We will work with
participants via email/phone to create accounts before tournament.
Upon arrival we will give participants their account
IDs/passwords.
Arrival Time
It is customary to arrive 15 minutes prior to USTA matches.
You MUST arrive by official match time to avoid penalties as
per USTA rules (see Friend at Court, Table 16 Penalties for
Lateness). However, if you prefer not to work with us prior to the
tournament to create your PlaySight account, you MUST arrive
**30 minutes** before your scheduled match start time to allow
sufficient time for account setup. We will NOT delay start of
matches to create your PLAYSIGHT account if you are late.
Refunds, Withdrawing
NO REFUNDS ONCE DRAW PUBLISHED except according to USTA rules.
Withdraw before registration closes is DONE BY YOU online with
your confirmation number from registration and player USTA number.
Go to tournament homepage, look on right side under "edit
registration" and follow the directions for withdraw.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, June 17, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
