Important USTA 2021 Changes
The USTA will be launching a new, simplified nationwide junior tournament competitive structure in January, 2021. These changes will create a standardized system that will drive greater consistency for our players, parents, coaches, tournament directors and officials. These changes will help better address the needs of all our constituents with the goals of driving growth in USTA Junior Tournaments. TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon Monday to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.

Start Times
Start times will be published no later that 2pm EST on February 12th. Please check the website for your start time. It will be located under the "Future Match Info" Win/Loss times will also be provided.
Draws - Draws will be posted by 12pm EST on Friday, February 14th.

PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order: 1 - 44 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament 2 - 20 Players based on UTR Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order: All 16 seeds are done using UTR. MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Feed-in consolation draw (through the Round of 16). Quarter-final losers will be fed into a separate consolation draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place. Semi-final losers will playoff for 3rd and 4th place. All front draw matches are best of three tie-break sets and consolation matches are best of three tiebreak sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 64 FIC-R16

Practice Courts: Friday Evening: You may call beginning Wednesday, February 12th at 12pm EST. No warm up courts will be booked prior to this day and time. Practice courts are available for rent for $10 per 1/2 hour (Max 1 hour) at Maple Y and Portage Y. Call 269-345-9622 and select your site by the prompts to reserve your warm up court. Court Fee due at time of reservation. No refunds.
Saturday Morning: All warm up courts will be FREE, first come, first served maximum 30 minutes. 4 Players per court, no coaches unless courts do not fill. Players with first match times between 8am and 11:15am encouraged to warm up between the 6:30am-8am. Players with first match times between 12pm-12:45pm are encouraged to use the 8am and 8:30am court at Maple Site
Warm up courts will be open as follows: Maple YMCA: 6:30a-8am (4 courts) 630am, 7am, and 7:30am 8-9am (1 court) 8am and 8:30am. 3-8am matches scheduled. No warm up courts after 9am. Portage YMCA: 630a-8am (3 courts) All matches take courts at 8am. No warm up courts after 8am KCollege: 7am - 8am (4 courts) All matches take courts at 8am. No warm up courts after 8am.
Sunday Morning: All warm up courts will be FREE, first come, first served maximum 30 minutes. 4 Players per court, no coaches unless courts do not fill. Players with first match times between 8am and 9:30am encouraged to warm up between the 6:30am-7:30am time slots. Players with first match times between 11-12:45pm are encouraged to use the 7:30am and 8am time slots.

SATURDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 1 round of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 3 rounds of consolation singles. MONDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of consolation singles.
